Good choice. It's the superior version.

Played both versions?

Is Deadwood worth a watch then?  Running low on decent shows to watch at the moment.

Not really, no. I swear myself, but the language in it is terrible. Not very realistic either as (Despite some recent films) even the 'Wild West' was very conservative where language was concerned - you could get into legal difficulties for swearing in front of women, for instance.

Some decent story lines, but way over the top.

Absolutely. Just be warned that the ending isn't one that's at all satisfactory. Given that they had the rug pulled out from them and never got to do the planned final season

No. But there are these sites, gaming sites, and they...play games, and then write about them, then people like us can go and read what they have written.

I have heard about these sites, some of them even get paid by the developers to make a game sound good, when it might not be. Some sites even spread rumours about another console. I have heard that fans of consoles are even worse than PC or Mac fanboys. I always read those sites with a pinch of salt. I heard rumours too. Like PS3 version not being 720P (360 is 720P). Have written an e-mail to Rockstar to ask about this, I do not expect an answer but you never know.

I'm quite shocked someone like yourself Andy would be put off by the language unless you find swearing offensive? Yes there's a lot of swearing but it's not enough to put me off watching it as one of the reasons. Didn't they say that the whole reason there is a lot of swearing in it was simply because they changed any curse words of that time to modern ones?

So whenever they say c*nt, cocksucker or motherfucker it would have actually been stuff like 'goldarn it' which would have come across as comical.

I thought it was well worth watching, if only for Ian McShane's performance.

Can those of you who've downloaded it, put anything you do in the game in spoilers please? Some of us don't get the fucking thing till friday.
And when you find yourself along the untrodden path
Remember me with a smile, a drink, a gesture or a laugh
And a toast for the man who loves every hour of every day
And a feast for the friends and faces met along way
Gratitude

Size of the area is irrelevant. Some multi console owners get swayed by such trivial things, Batman AA managed to sell more on PS3 largely due to the fact of the playable joker character- and its not often multiplat games sell more on the PS3.

Well theres the online aspect of things, what console your friends are getting it on, which version actually runs better, and controller too.

But personally i would go for whichever console my friends were getting it on- assuming both versions are equal.
