Salah doesn’t look fully fit, a few times he didn’t want to test his hamstring.

The desperation to disallow anything is pathetic. Feel sorry for Endo as he's deserved a goal. They crumbled pretty quickly once we upped a gear

Rashford's goal against us last season was allowed as he was 'only a bit offside'.

Think after 30 minutes, United went back into their shell. At that point, we had a possession with something like 50 passes. Once a Mourinho team, always a Mourinho team.

Yep we didn't even need to get into 3rd gear to score two, they are terrible, we just somehow were worse :D

They've been good, we've been poor.  We're still leading.  I believe the kids say 'lol'.

They have come into this game fresh, while we've played loads of games. It was noticeable how the moment we scored they lost their composure and began to panic.

We were being overrun at times and none of our players were having a good game. We fell asleep a couple of times down our right.

However we started to compete more as the half went on. Great run by Quansah and a nice first goal (via a deflection).
Fernandes diving for our 2nd backfired. Gomez was too strong for him and Mo hammered it in via the post.

We still need to tighten up a bit at the back and to improve in midfield. Don’t give anything away and score the next goal.

That was a lovely weighted pass for Macallisters goal by Nunez, looked easy but it was pretty much the perfect pass.

Much like the City game it took us 30min to work things out and then took control. They're probably better suited to hitting us on the break than City were though.

It's all they've got.

There was something poetic about Rat face diving for our goal and getting caught. But, as always, they comb through every single pass and phase of play when we score a goal to try their hardest to take it away. Fuck them.

Like one of the lads said above, worst 40 mins of the season for us but I knew we’d come back, just didn’t expect it to be in the first half.

Bradley for Gomez and we’ll be sorted. Less said about his half the better.

I’d fucking love to put another peppering on these horrible shower.

Rashford has so much space on our right. He is hugging the touchline but we are leaving him in space. Need to block off the passes to him, but also watch his runs.

Diaz could destroy them if he gets to run at them more.

They tried everything not to give that goal then. First a foul, then an offside then a check for a handball. Fuckers

Honestly

You watch rugby and the ref will ask ‘is there any reason I can’t give the try’. With that goal it felt like ‘is there any reason I cant give the goal…lads. Seriously lads, come on. Something. Foul? Check that. Offside? Clearly not? Fucking check it anyway, take your time’

As expected, they've raised their game well beyond the way they've played at any other point in the season.  They're working harder and tackling and passing better and more effectively than any of the 10 matches or so I've seen of them.  No surprise by that.

A struggle to be up but well-deserved.  Seems like maybe the number of matches is starting to get to us a little?  Many of them don't seem to have the usual hop in their step. Feel like JoGo and Robbo aren't having great games yet.  Will be nice having Elliott on to give us a boost of energy for the final 30.

I would have loved to have seen the lines on Salah's goal from when the ball was actually passed rather from when they drew those lines.  I know a lot of people say offside is an objective standard, but there's a lot of subjectivity about when they draw the lines up.

I love the shock on Bruno's face when he didn't get a foul call for flopping so easily.  To be honest, if I were him I'd be shocked too as it must be the first time in ages since a ref hasn't bought it.

Ah well.  Happy we're a second half club as we should now properly bury them.

Was Rashford offside from the free kick before their goal? Looked it but my coverage didn’t show it again.

Reckon we all celebrated Endo’s goal

But when Macca scored I was thinking offside, Onana line of sight.

Then when Salah scored I thought, surely there’s something…

And Jarell Quansah is brilliant, an absolute star in the making.

A bit sloppy for their goal (not the only one, to be fair) but his contribution in the build up to our first more than made up for it. Magnificent.

Think 2nd half will be more comfortable.

I’d go more of a double pivot and push Dom further up, there is plenty of space.

I also think having Bradley in will help Mo, he can hold width and then if Mo comes inside, it’ll fry Wan Bissaka’s brain.

Suprised they didn't rule a freekick for Gomez's legit challenge. Took an age to look for something, anything to rule it out. The c*nts!

Terrible half energy wise. Reminds me of the last game against this lot. Hopefully we'll up our game second half and properly do them in!

Scoreline hiding what has been a poor performance in which we were 2nd to every ball for a long time. Fortunately it’s only Man U we’re playing.

You have to understand they are fresh coming into this game, while we're not that plays into things. It probably the biggest reason why we don't start games off quickly we come into them as the game goes on.
