Almost definitely.

I should be happier with a 5-1 win but potential injuries and our really poor defending, before City, is really deflating this for me.

Jurgen should have taken off Konate at half-time

Quansah will play ahead of Gomez I would have thought, assuming Konaté is out

Can't see Quansah playing ahead of Gomez (if he's not injured) in such an important game. Robbo at LB and Bradley at RB.

Excellent win, the tie is effectively dead and we can rest players in the 2nd leg.

Everything crossed that Konate is okay but it's never just a precaution with us is it.

Surely Nunez and Gomez just went off to be rested? Konate is the concern

That was fun, apart from Konate.

No shit time wasting or going to ground at every 50-50. Wasn't it supposed to be the foreigners who always dived?

Excellent result!  A good performance in patches but much more controlled after Virgil came on.

I suppose if we had to have another injury then defense in the area we have some cover.  Still, two of our first choice back four out isn't ideal.

Nice easy and comfortable win. Endo, Kelleher and Mac Allister were excellent.

Nice to see Mo back and he had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Looked onside to me and suspicious they didn’t draw the lines. What happened to the “Rashford” rule where you can be offside but “not enough”?

Our squad is very thin due to injuries but we keep on serving up brilliant performances.

Hopefully Konate and Nunez (?) haven’t picked up injuries.

He'd already taken Gomez off the way they were playing completely changing the defence wouldn't have been the smartest thing to do.

Tie wrapped up in 45 minutes. Play the U21s for the 2nd leg. We make the difficult look routine.

Now onto ADFC. Let's hope we have a full strength-ish squad to pick from cos we'll need it.

Great result, but I'd be demanding an explanation for why Salah's goal was disallowed. Not disallowing goals that should be is one thing, but totally legitimate goals being disallowed without reason is becoming an increasingly worrying trend.

Great performance and the result that we needed to take the edge out of next week.

The Gomez substitution I assume was planned for half time; I think he then brings Nunez off for Szbozslai when he has to do the Konate sub as it was planned anyway and he doesn’t want to have to break the game again to make it as he’d obviously planned the Clark and Salah subs.

Amazing that TNT don’t even mention that and just assume they’re injuries because of the timing.

Hopefully Konate is alright, seemed to be walking alright as he went off.

I mean, except it wasn't a dead rubber, and we just decided to take one defender off rather than another at that time

Great win. I can't for the life of me see why Salah's goal was ruled out.

Anyway, some lovely goals tonight. Hopefully the injuries are nothing to worry about. Puzzling why they are sensationalising a routine substitution (Nunez) as an injury concern. 🤔

It isn't but if it makes you feel better then go with that narrative.

Konate didn't look good, built like a brick shithouse but muscles made of quavers. I'm hoping Gomez was taken off as he'll be playing left back judging by Robbo's performance tonight.
Great win though apart from the injury worries but I guess it wouldn't be a game without that

I’m fairly confident this will be the team v City;

           Kelleher
Bradley, Gomez, VVD, Kostas
       Szob, Endo, Mac
       Mo, Darwin, Diaz

Should be able to field a fairly weak team now for the second leg. Think the kids have proven in recent weeks that they're not going to lose by 4 clear goals to this Sparta Prague team.
