Oh really mate.

Did they check to see if it was working correctly also?

It seemed okay, but over time dust has got in under the screen. The glass wasn't sealed properly, and the home button isn't that snug these days. I think this iPad is about three years old but it was definitely a shoddy repair. Try and get a recommendation for the place you choose. :wave

Anybody interested in Football Manager games - Champ Man 13/14 is available free through the app store. You basically have to work yourself up from at least the Championship in order to achieve bonuses but seems very good so far and quite fast.

Thinking of purchasing one of those redpepper waterproof cases for my 4s before holidays in a couple of weeks. Anyone had any experience with one? Just found a great little game, "Lil' Alchemist". If you can get past the cartoonish art style and the weird "humor" that the developers are definitely trying very hard to put in the game, the mechanics are fantastic. It's a card game, but not like the copy and paste ones that are popping up every other day on the app store. It offers multiplayer as well and it can get pretty addictive. Free as well.

Anyone else having issues with the 'Huffington Post' app? I only can seem to get the 'front page' section up, the rest of the sections, sport, tech etc, are not appearing anymore.

It's a proper good time killer of an app, usually plenty to read on there. Most annoying.

Football Chairman is very addictive and difficult at the same time. Basically you start 7 divisions below the Premiership and have to work your way up playing solely as the Chairman. So your dealing with wages, transfers, training facilities, extending the stadium etc. You can do a season in about 5 minutes as apart from the players you buy in the transfer window, you can't directly affect the outcome.

I'm also playing Football Chairman, quite addictive. On my 4th season now though, losing patience. Came so close to promotion last season but they bottled it in the last few games. Has anyone actually reached the Premiership? Bearing in mind it is a Lite version so not sure if that level is available

Dont think you can change teams. Built up the youth quite a bit and you get good youngsters coming through - have had some rated 60-80! Manager seems to find good players on a free which helps aswell

Finally got to the Premiership after 30 odd seasons. League 2 took me nearly 15 seasons to get out of alone - much more difficult than League 1 and Championship! If your early on in the game its best to build your youth up as you get 2/4 star players at the end of the season. My stadium has a capacity of 16k atm. You'll never have a quality player on your books for more than 5 seasons let alone 3 so be prepared to sell if you don't think promotion is possible as they will say they don't want to renew their deals!

Was doing my head in, I deleted it. Think I upgraded my stadium too much and I was always in a loss every single week. Probably download it again soon and have another go. Need to be more like FSG and not Abramovich in this game

Does anyone have any recommendations for a price comparison app? I've got RedLaser but it's shite, all the results that come up are for ebay listings, not arsed about them. Just want to compare bricks-and-mortar stores and reputable online retailers.

Up until recently, I would have said GoodPlayer. Not so now. Sound is gone on some films. VLC?

Football Chairman. Promoted up seven tiers. Six Prem titles. 100,000 sweater stadium. Perfect team. 200 million in the bank. And this is the thanks I get.

That makes it worse. Every season you have to sell one or two of your best players because you run at about a million a week loss.

How do you mean?
I think you need to open Itunes to add a film. Once done, that film should be on your iphone/ipad. Then if you want to store it on Icloud, you will take care of that on respective device.

It's a "pain in the arse" version. Have to pay for almost everything on it, once you've downloaded it. 1.1gb too. I'll be swerving that.
Yep just on it now, deleting again. FIFA for phones is shit anyway

FIFA are c*nts at the moment.  The Vita version is £40.00 and it is the same game as last year (exactly the same) except a couple of new kits.

They can fo fuck themselves, they are taking the piss on everything except consoles now, and even then the changes are debateable.

Bit harsh on real racing, I've played it loads and not spent a penny and not felt like I've had to, you can race with your other cars whilst waiting for repairs to finish

Not sure if its the same with real racing, but i had CSR racing and instead of waiting for repairs or your tank to refill i would just change the time/date on my iphone.

Maybe would work for other games? worth a go.
