Well in L6, e-mail him directly and thank him for quoting it, send him the link to your other article, and ask him for advice or help, get in there.

of course, we don't get a mention:

Already sent my CV off to the Times about a month ago during my attempts of summer recruitment and was told to apply in September, so I'll do that. I am all tied up with work experience until October now anyway so there'd be little point in applying now 'cause I couldn't get down to London sadly.

I'll defo e-mail him and thank him though, genuinely chuffed.

a local newspaper here in singapore today mentioned that the race will be between US,mancs and chelsea this year.
and the 5 players to watch are torres, stevie, cech, deco and rooney

surprise! ;)
If I live to be a hundred and Liverpool bring in genius managers who win Quadruples and Quintuples for the club, I'll always point to Rafa as the one who meant the most to me.

easy lads, lets just take it one game at a time...

but i'm feeling good about this year. We've definitely got a chance to crack the top 2.

PPS The United fan;  You may have the best defence but WE have the best goalie - he's won the Golden Gloves in the past THREE seasons and thus is indisputably better than VDS and Skrtel and Agger are younger that means they WILL be better than Rio and Vidic (who only have 2/3 seasons left as a top level partnership) it's a matter of time that's all.

might be old but I have to pick up on this rubbish, they are younger so they will definitely develop into better players/partnership than Rio/Vidic, what absolute tosh.  How do you know they haven't reached their peak already, that they'll even be at your club in 2 years time, that they won't get niggling injuries that affect development.  It isn't as simple as football manager peak at the age of 28-32 for a defender.

As for this 'golden gloves' award, I'd never even heard of it before reading RAWK, fact is reina has far fewer shots to deal with than the other keepers in the league due to liverpools defensive style/setup.

I noticed that myself! I came looking for this thread to point it out, but got distracted by something. :)

Welshies ::)

Well in Kris.
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

While I think we'll do better this season I still think we're somewhat short of Man Utd and Chelsea.

However one thing that really pissed me off on the train this morning I noticed somebody reading the match report of our game on Saturday (not sure which newspaper) and the headline read "Liverpool paper over cracks".

I'll be the first to admit that we we're poo up until the last 10 mins against Boro BUT the big difference is if that had been Man Utd or Chelsea sneaking a late victory like that the rags would be having a major w@nk fest because "Winning Ugly" is "The sign of Champions" blah de blah.......
Ya we have been talking in the half time, we need to do something, we need to change things and maybe if we score then it will be different and we scored and it was different.  - Rafael Benitez Ataturk Stadium Istanbul 26 May 2005

It's funny how the premise of the article is based on the signings of Barry and Keane.

Yet we're still top.
