Benjamin Mendy left out of the squad for "tactical reasons".

Not sure what kind of full back Angelino is, but not playing Mendy suggests they are going to be more cautious ala last season at Anfield.

We can easily get at that backline.

if we can get to their backline. looks at tactical fouls.

their bench is pretty solid if they need any changes though.

lets just hope we fucking smash em.

Interesting the bookies make Man City favourites, not often that happens at home.

Yeah, slight, but I’m a little surprised at that. Maybe just they need the win a little more, where as a draw suits us a little more?

Can't expect a Ł52m fullback to offer tactical flexibility or game intelligence, makes their injury crisis even worse when you consider all the tactically injured players.

Team as expected, let's keep calm and play our natural game and go at them. If we push them hard imo they will crumble. If we let them dictate then it will be hard for us.

Big chance for us, let's take advantage.

So they have a keeper that's played a grand total of 3 premier league games in the last 3 seasons, no Laporte, a 34 year-old as the lynchpin of their defence, a left-back who's played 3 times for them, a defensive midfielder straight back from injury, and a bench that's weaker than ours.

Game on  8)
I've got OCD, but I prefer to call it CDO so it's in alphabetical order.

Predicting 3-1 to use. Reckon we go a couple of goals up in the first half. They pull one back early second half, leading to a nervy 20-25 minutes until we score a third around 80-85 minutes as they push for an equaliser.

Bricking it now mind!

No Cancelo or Mendy starting, after they'd been starting in the past few games.

No Mendy means drastically reduced chances of Sterling doing well will drag him out wide more and away from the box as there won't be as much width without Mendy

We are the better side on paper, we have more on the bench, we're at home and we have been making a habit of scoring late winners recently.

Dont see how we lose this, and if we play anywhere near our best we will take the 3 points.
