Really disappointing. No right to expect to be in a title race at the start of the season, but to stumble in April is sickening.
Was always going to be difficult with both Arsenal and City pushing, but it has never the less, fizzled out with a lot of players looking shot.
Not sure what was going on today, as poor as some of our passes and tackling was, we still could have scored 4, how some of those six yard chances didnt go in I have no idea. Henderson made a couple of great reaction saves too. I thought Jones was unlucky with the run through on goal, but having seen it back now he should have finished.
Kavanagh poor again, not that he caused us to lose, but there were a lot of minor niggly fouls in the game, many of which were not given even though numerous players were kicked or barged off the ball. Love to understand how we only ended up with 7 minutes injury time, given that one of them was down and the sequential time wasting subs they made took 4 minutes alone, the endless time wasting of the keeper or the throw ins, let alone all them taking it in turns sitting down on the pitch injured, even then one of their lads going down in injury time and he added on barely 13 seconds? Mind you I am not convinced we would have scored if we were still playing now.
The is some work to do on how we start games and to work on patience and concentration in the build up.
