Deauville

2:50 Arapaho & Kenway
3:25 Tropbeau & Emoji

So good having Group 1 racing back, especially when they're classics!

Great performance from Victor Ludorum and a beautiful ride from Barzalona. Fabre's horses just weren't running a few weeks ago. They're improving a stone between runs.

RACING IS BACK!

5:05N Alignak

Sir Michael Stoute has an amazing record at Newcastle (30 odd % strike rate). Murphy booked which is a positive. Timeform says: 'open to further progress.'

Good luck all!

Got out of trouble with the Stoute runner!

He is the true master @ training the older horses.

Pretty striking performance from Frankly Darling. Hit a slight flat spot but when Havlin went for her she picked up like a proper animal should. Think The Oaks trip will only bring out more improvement. Would say she's definitely a lively outsider, because they seem to think a lot of her.

Art Power too, was breathtakingly good. Edraak did a striking performance for Mick Appleby, but Art Power did it in a second and a half quicker. King Power have one there.

Frankly Darling was impressive.  Not many punters know this but fillies have a poor record on he artificial surface (proven statistically). So when one wins like that then its worth taking note.

Here are today's selections. I'll be keeping an eye on the market and won't bet any that drift over 6.0.

1:35K: Olympic Conqueror

2:10K: Grandfather Tom

2:30N: Mubakker

Mubakker is unbeaten on the all weather and is a Sir Michael Stoute runner. Stoute had a good winner at the course yesterdays so is in fine form. This should follow up and is the NAP!

Good luck.

Some trainers are better than others when horses have their first run of the year.  Stoute for example is a master at it.

I've been saying for a while and still after 16 years punting it rings true. Stoute always starts well  and now is bang in form this week. I'll be looking at his runners very carefully going forward. He's only warming up wait until he has Ryan Moore on them. I foresee good things.  We might as well make hay.

5:05K Singing The Blues(IRE)

Going to have a small bet on Singing the Blues in this 12f handicap. I like the jockey booking of Murphy who has ridden him before to success at the track and he's a course and distance winner.

Should go well IMO.

Trainer Rod Millman does well at Kempton and I think he is targeting this race. He has only had a few runners at big prices so has hardly got going yet. I reckon he has planned this one out especially with that jockey so lets see how he does ! :)

I've got a few quid on this last one and i'm done for today.

I need every penny for Newmarket. Really fancy the Favourite in the 1,000 Guineas. for Mr. Roger Charlton.  I'm going to have a monstrous bet..

I'll watch every single one of them win, I wouldn't back one of his runners with stolen money. They'll make lovely class 4 handicappers ;D

Imagine she’d be odds on or close to that if trained by Gosden or O’Brien so 9/4 probably not a bad price.
Won’t have run on ground this fast before but by Frankel out of a US mare so might even improve for better ground. Got the impression last year she might be better over further but may well be good enough to win this before presumably going for the Oaks. Good Luck with that one

She's by far the most likely winner because I don't think it's a vintage renewal on the face of it. I'll bet her, but it won't be a lump job because who knows how they've done over the winter.

Don't see how you could back anything with any conviction this early. No idea how much work the horses have been able to do etc.

Can get 5/2 on her which is crazy.  She will be shorter than that Sunday when the rest of the betting public figure it out. She is going to storm it in my opinion.

First few weeks have to be minimal stakes I think. Unless we're talking about exposed all weather handicappers you're betting on what they did the year before and some horses improve or regress a stone.

It's not easy because of corona especially because there's been no trials like the Nell Gywn .

However this 5/2 is a gift.

If Quadrilateral bolted up in a trial she would be odds on for the Guineas so this is a HUGE opportunity for the punters.  She is the stand out filly I dont think anything can beat her hence I will bet accordingly!

I'm not doubting she's the best horse in the race but I just don't think you can be certain she's fully wound up. How many work riders have been allowed to work for the last 3 months like? Things are all over the place. Have they been doing racecourse gallops?

I think the trainer will have her ready. We don't know unless he gives us an update which i'm sure he's going to do soon to the media unless he has already (I haven't looked) But  Charlton is a very good trainer so I expect him to have her ready.

I'm on a mission to build up as much money as possible so I can put it on her in the next few days . Money I can afford to lose that is. I'm not stupid...

If she bombs I will take the hit but i trust my judgement and I feel 5/2 is  too good to turn down.

Here are today's selections.  Hopefully I don't give any of my winnings back from yesterday!

2:30Y: Dutch Story Course and distance winner with jockey Havlin booked who has a good record at the track.

3:55K: Nazeef - Class filly and Godsen in great form!

4:15Y: City Wanderer - Decent horse and De Sousa jockey booking is a big positive.

4:30K Highfaluting (NAP) - trainers record at course is excellent and an interesting jockey change.

I won't be backing any of these if they drift >6.0 (unlikely I think),

If you only back one horse then it make the NAP. I think this should win and I really like the trainer/jockey.

Good luck!

What have I been saying? ;D

Maydanny got beat on debut by a horse called Kodiac Pride, I know a bloke who owns a minute piece of that horse with the Owners Group and since going to Prescott it's ran like a 40 rated seller. Maydanny absolutely jogged round off 80. Out of Dubawi and Attraction you'd want something decent but they gelded him last year.

I'd say there's a bit more room in his mark going forward, might be put away for a biggish handicap later in the summer.

Appleby/Buick Newmarket maidens  First Time out: 35% Strike Rate  +£21.40 profit

---

That is really incredible. Godolphin are unique at doing this.

I noticed they under-perform with Fillies though(they show a loss with them) so the  best bet is  do the first two colts in a double:

Magical Land

Creative Force

Should pay around 5/1!  Not bad...
