Time for us as a club - players and supporters to respond. It’s the only way.

No other way, we need the team and supporters to be fired up this weekend, no other fucking option. City smell blood.... fuck them oil rich c*nts.

Can’t help but feel like it’s happened again to us

Sure it has. Season ends today doesn't it? Not like we have 13 other games remaining to do better than what we have so far.

Decent enough from Everton without really looking a threat. City look as laboured as we have at the moment, if the Chelsea that actually fancy it turn up on Sunday they may well get something.

Hopefully for us minds can refocus a little and we get the job done against Bournemouth. We then get 10 days to get some players back before Bayern

Surprised ?  City are leagues ahead of Everton... it’s like a non-league side playing a prem side in the fa cup ... 99 times out of 100 the prem side wins...

Long way to go and we are still in it ..

This. If we can't do our part at the weekend in the stands I'll start questioning if we really deserve it anyway. No fucking moaning the first time we lose the ball, no targeting individuals if it's not their day. If we're drawing with 30 seconds left it's still there to be won.

Kyle Martino calling bullshit on the Liverpool suffering from nerves narrative on nbcsn. Pointing out how city laboured as well tonight. Weird to hear a pundit making sense.
Beat Bournemouth and Chelsea take anything from city and things will look a lot more positive.

We have games at Old Trafford where were historically awful coming up. The defence has gone and the attack hasn’t been there all season. If we don’t sort it out Saturday and onwards then we will end up in a battle for 2nd

In our hands.

Last 10 we dropped 7 points, they dropped 12, and they're only halfway through their hard period.

We got this.

Some advice from past experience: don’t watch the everton city game. The 2014 one was one of the most bizarre matches I’ve ever seen. Was like a pre season atmosphere. I’m half expecting that evertonian in his speedos to score for city if needed. Save yourself the hassle and watch a film, read a book or go the gym

Didn't watch the game so I went for Barcelona vs Real Madrid.   Coutinho looked terrible, I wouldn't re-sign him.  Suarez was still hungry as ever.

Sorry. what ?? The defense is the best in the league , by 5 goals I might add, and we're are the second highest scorers. Not bad for a team who's "defense has done and attack hasn't been there all season"

The game against Ole's all conquering viking warriors is probably going to be one of the most important matches between the sides in a long time. You couldn't write it really. We either go into it knowing that a win will take us 3 clear OR if results go our way and Chelsea help us out, we may go into it knowing a win will take us more than 3 clear. And they'll obviously treat it as the Champions League final just so they can derail us. It's going to be absolutely massive.

Hopefully the City result/league position re-focuses the LFC players and give them a clarity of purpose.  The last two performances/results have been mostly down to pressure to my mind. This saturday will be the time for the real LFC to stand up and put title challenge back on track

It's still entirely in our hands. We're going through a rash of injuries and the usual fitness "down" that we've always had under Klopp in January/early February, it happens. Bournemouth is vital and a win, any win, is absolutely crucial. Thankfully we have a full 10 days after that before Bayern and 5 more before travelling to United, and hopefully for those  two fixtures we'll have fully recovered all our injured players bar probably Gomez and we'll have started growing back into our own fitness-wise.

Of course it's frustrating to have dropped points in two winnable fixtures, but it was never going to be a procession to the title and our pace of dropping 0 points against teams outside the top 6 was just untenable over the full season. We have to bounce back, quickly, and we have all the heart and ability to do so.

We need to beat Bournemouth just as much as we needed to win our last 2 games    . None are more important than the others they all represent 3 points that we desperately need a run of.

I noticed that almost none of the immediate reactions to the City game mention that we have a game in hand. I think it is telling because it shows what that media thinks of our challenge. They think it will crumble under any pressure. And strangely many of our fans jump in and help make their point for them. I don't care what City do. If we win all our games in hand, we win the league. If City win all their games in hand, they still don't win the league. The pressure is on them not us. I think some fans need to grow some balls.

One game at a time.  Beat Bournemouth on Saturday and go 3 points clear having played the same number of games, simple as that.

For now. Then they go ahead again and we have to go to old Trafford to go top again. All because we dropped points against Leicester and West Ham.

It's still doable, but obviously a lot harder now, and psychology dropping a decent lead to fall back to 2nd probably will have had an impact. Hoping it will result in something positive but who knows.
