I'd agree with Reina, and Cesar.
Neuer needs more time to establish himself and Valdes is very iffy at the back sometimes for Barca and I think Iker has better positional awareness than Valdes.

Vincente del Bosque says he's 3rd best in Spain and last I checked Iker wore the armband for the World Cup champions. Pretty convincing case no?

I always thought Cantona was very overrated. He was one of those who looked great when the Mancs would thrash the likes of Ipswich or Oldham in the 90s, but back then they were clearly a level below the elite in Europe and for all his supposed greatness he didn't do a lot to lift their performances at that level.

Valdes has grown into a top keeper. Casillas seems to be going the other way, and at the moment, imo he's living on his reputation as the "best gk in the world" rather than what actually happens on the pitch.

Just to be clear, i'm not saying Casillas isn't world class, he is. But right now, there are better keepers ahead of him.

I think Reina's spot as the number 2 GK is actually in doubt. VDB seems to rotate between the two, and if we're honest Valdes international performances have been a lot better than Reina's.

Khedira stands out, I kept saying it last summer during the World Cup it was Schweini who ran the show, Khedira literally did fuck all and has done fuck all at Madrid where Diarra is the much better player.

Rooney, he is fucking overrated as is Gareth Bale.

Fellaini, what is this fucker good for? He can't even outjump Lucas despite the foot advantage in height

Not really, Casillas is the national team captain, he's very unlikely to be dropped unless he's not captain. He was also put into the Real Madrid team by Del Bosque, did you expect him to pick anyone else in goal even if the others are better?

Victor Valdes is recognised by the spanish press as the best goalkeeper in Spain.

That was just one of his mistakes, I've seen him make a lot of mistakes in his early days, but since he has got older (When everyone started following them) he has got better. But to say he's better than Iker Cassilas is a bit far.

It really isn't going too far to say he is better than Casillas. He is after all the one that has been playing in a team that has won numerous trophies. Great GK, as good as Pepe i'd say.
