Thew performance wasn't bad, but the 3 minutes that brought the goal were desperately poor.

1. Starts with Diaz being brushed off the ball
2. Straight through the middle like no one was there
3. Gravenberch (who has been decent) gets back, is fouled to my mind, but hey ho.
4. Midfielders swarm like flies (which is good)
5. Endo, already on a yellow, gives away the stupidest free of all time. You could see he was going to foul before he went into the tackle.
6. Free in, wasted
7. Ball out, fannying around at the back, MacAllister (?) loses ball, Becker makes class save from deflection
8. Corner, no pressure on forwards, Bowen gets free header to back of net.

Liverpool are missing good chances, but you have to be solid in the middle and at the back. That goal was enraging.

West Ham were clearly there for the taking. Very low on confidence and not a whole lot to play for. Perfect setup to grab an early goal and frustrate the crowd who sound like they don't want to be there as well. Instead we concede a headed goal from a quickly taken corner from a 5'9 winger just before half time. Perfect.

A lot of huffing and puffing but not a great deal of genuine quality which seems to be like a broken record at this point now

Trent and Diaz only ones with any creative or attacking threat. Gakpo's skillset is completely nullified every time he plays central. Always seems to drop a couple of levels when he's pushed inside.

I'd play Bajectic and the youth for the rest of the season. Give us something different to watch please

He had a great period mid season but he's looked exactly like a 30+ year old bargain buy from Stuttgart last few games. Woeful there.

Quansah and VVD is not a good partnership.

Quansah has mostly had a great season, but like with Endo, we've pushed our luck too far with him. Guys who were a pleasant surprise and who should've been squad players have become guys that we totally depend on, and that shouldn't have been the case.

Need a new CB and DM in the summer.
