Shocking result for Wolves. Can't blame this one on the Europa League either.

Incidentally Wolves have clawed it back to 4-2 after down 4-0. That Chelsea defence can be got at.

5-2 now. They're dangerous up front.

A lot of swagger in the 3 o’clocks
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Man Utd are looking like a midtable team, which Leicester should be beating if they want to challenge for top four.  :wave

Their fans can’t even get excited by wins like this. They are so dreadful there is no hope at all for them.

Leicester were completely toothless. They could do another 90 and still not score.

back in top 4 for now though. maybe the fans see it as a sign of "progress". You know the fergie/moyes era of winning ugly and all that. Leicester were disappointing as team though. Thought they might hurt Man u more.

still arsenal, everton and west ham could climb above man u if they win tomorrow.

I wish both of these could've lost but alas.

Impressive from Abraham,a hattrick and an own goal, the boy knows how to score.

Don't even bother watching Norwich vs City guys Norwich have virtually no defenders who aren't injured and they weren't defensively sound even before that. Game could be a massacre.

And yes I'm hoping this is a jinx  ;)

There’s only one result which mattered and it was done by 2-30. The others, City included, are just bonuses. The likes of Chelsea and United, whilst shite by their own standards, will still be winning more than they lose this season.

Exactly, I can see us and City only losing maybe once or twice this season. We just need to concentrate on ourselves.

these next run of games will be a real test for us. Take it one game at a time and see what happens. Chelsea away and the CL game midweek will be tough.

Penalchester Utd with a win finally

saw a stat that said 40% of penalties awarded this season in the PL have gone to Utd!
Is that true? I know they seem to get one every game, meanwhile we may get one at the Kop by about 2025.

They have about 33% - https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/elfmeterstatistik/wettbewerb/GB1 - but this early on I don't see what use the statistic has. The 40% might be after today's game, though.

We had a penalty in the Arsenal game, can't remember which side.

I know its not really a 'stat' but its still a lot!

I think that was at the Anny road end. Presumably Spurs still have had more pens at the Kop end than us in the last 2 years!

It’s got to the point with City, especially against a Norwich side with 11 fucking injuries, where you’re guessing how many seconds until the score, rather than minutes.

How many professional fouls today from City,

I'm going 10-15 today.

To be fair, and I hate Sterling more than most, he’s been absolutely sensational lately.

Comparing him to the above two is a ridiculous and totally needless comparison, but then we had this with Salah a season or two ago as well, I’ll give it a few weeks more of Mane continuing his current form before that comparison is drawn for him.

And in the 'played for a Champions League winning club' category yet wierdly not in the 'won the Champions League' category.
