Only players who have been decent are Gomez, Quansah and Elliott. MacAllister and Tsimikas have been poor.

We’ve been approaching games like this with a poor sloppy attitude. It’s as if we believe that we don’t need to be at our best. Our movement has been non-existent, our passing poor and we have been slow. Endo needs to stop diving in otherwise he’ll be off.

Their goal was lucky.,….maybe Quansah could have come to the player quicker.

Toulouse are poor and we have been as bad.

Away at a shite k/o time against a shite team, where we're playing shite and now have to endure a torrent of shite from Joe Cole. If I ever wondered why I hate this competition then the reasons are right there in front of me. So little in terms of creativity, it's taken our youngest player to show even a bit of spark. The rest is just, well, very meh. Get the feeling Klopp will want this one sorted out so I'm expecting the big guns on at half time. At the very least Endo needs to be replaced so we can stay 11 v 11. And the less said about Kostas the better....

I still can't fathom wht Jurgen plays Gomez where he does. He offers nothig in midfield other than another body whilst leaving us short on the right to support Doak and Elliot. Right back with some urgency getting forward would be much better.

I don't know about comparing this to Luton. We didn't play our best, but we created chances that we didn't take, today we aren't really creating anything.

Poor effort, but nothing to worry about.  Hard time seeing us not coming away from this with at least a draw. 

But damn, for the second match in a row, teams and players seemingly not great, not skilled have just danced through us when we have 2 or 3 or 4 bodies surrounding them.  I lost count of the times a Luton player was able to wiggle out of a 3 on 1 disadvantage to get free or make a clean pass to a teammate, but I think Toulouse has done that at least as many times in this first half.  If they were THAT good, why the hell are they at the middle or bottom of the table? 

Only one half, but Mac doesn't look significantly better at the 8 (as everyone has reminded is his real position) than he has at the 6.  But, no choice but to give him the whole 90 here and hope he improves. 

Doak showing his age, Tsimikas having a brain cramp, Endo flying into challenges when he doesn't need to...   A lot of room for improvement by the whole squad.

Toulouse are awful, so doesn't say much for us to be behind. Will need second half changes as not sure that starting line-up is capable of scoring, nevermind winning this game.

Tsimikas obviously at fault for the goal, but the midfield has been awful. Not a single completed tackle between them. No chances created. Harvey has looked bright in sparks but both Endo and Mac Allister are really struggling with the pace of the game... Gakpo anonymous, Doak showing his inexperience, Diaz not really been in the game. The defence (Tsimikas aside) looked alright?

It's all just a bit pedestrian isn't it? Slow, possession football with no cutting edge.

Looking for some patterns of play to form but nothing seems to be happening. All very subdued, slow and lacking distinctive a spark out there. Some more chance creation would be hugely welcome please!!

Need to move the ball ore quickly and start to pick up the 2nd balls. I wouldn’t be looking to make too many tactical changes at half time. Let these players have a chance to rectify the situation. I personally would add one of Jota, Nunez or Salah for Doak. Need some spark, movement and goal threat from front 3. Not Doak’s fault but real lack of genuine forward threat to scare Toulouse so far

Let's be fair, at Anfield they were fucking shite. They tried, I have to give them credit, but they were really bad. Easily the worst team to play us at Anfield.

That doesn't mean we don't put the effort in here like. Any given Sunday (or Thursday in this instance) and all that.

Fwiw the fact we have 30% possession makes me think if we can inject some pace and forward impetus it will make a big difference

There aren't enough forward runs, Gakpo has been very quiet and though Diaz started off well he faded a bit by the end.
