Gravenberch is levels above everyone else on the pitch really. Endo having a really good game as well, which is pleasing to see!

I don't think we've looked enormously vulnerable defensively, but individually a few of the defenders look like they're struggling a little, particularly on the left hand side. Gomez doesn't look comfortable on his wrong side, and Chambers been a bit naive positionally, though he did have that wicked cross at one point. Passing in general from defence has been pretty laboured.

If we tightened up the passing a little I think we'd probably blow them away.

Nunez was great for Jota’s goal drawing defenders leaving Diogo in the clear, as was the run and finish itself.

Gravenberch has been very dangerous, Curtis and Elliott very involved too, Trent excellent at times.

And Endo, Goal aside, which was a great header, looks very composed and passes crisply and forward well

Only slight moan was I thought Kelleher should have come out and narrowed the angle, but backed off and gave them an easier finish. But he’ll learn

much of that comes from the change in formation, Trent is rarely on the right going forward now and Curtis tends to tuck inside too. We have little width both left and right now

Endo really is a strange player. His passing, especially his vertical passes have been excellent. A great finish for his goal but he doesn't half take up some mad positions for a six both in possession and when we are defending.

A really good half from him though. Gravenberch looks like he and Trent are playing against a lower age group at times. The way he just drifts away from players is insane. Made up for Darwin and Jones, Elliott and Jota have looked good as well.

Gravenberch is sublime and Endos passing is very underrated, great ability to pass into space and weight it perfectly so we retain possession

Only caught it from the Endo goal, but we still look like we have gears to go through which is good considering the team not having played together. Gravenberch looks great, and Endo reminds me of Lucas the way he seems to be able to go into a challenge and more often than not come out with the ball, can see him being useful against certain types of teams this season.

Yeah Trent definitely needs to be holding the line there and if he does it's not a goal, but Chambers has charged wildly out of position a couple of times and been out of the game when the ball turns over. It's not really a massive criticism of him, just an observation - it's his first start, he's young and is getting used to the way we play, he'll learn! Even Robertson has been getting his judgement on when to go and when to stay wrong at times this season.

Macmanaman did it regularly in his pomp, and Digger too. Now, we’ve got both Szob and Gravenberch doing it - the most difficult skill of a midfielder’s armoury - carrying/dribbling the ball past opponents. It’s something special when you see it.

On another note, I’d really like to see us win a few tackles; since Fab’s departure and Thiago’s absence, we don’t really have a genuine tackler in midfield; they harry, close down and put a foot in, but proper tackling? It’s something most opposing teams seem to outdo us at.
