A disappointing game, just can't keep hold of the ball

Well done Jota taking it as calm as can be.

They have made it difficult for us tonight they have worked really hard all night, and we just haven't been our usual sharp selves.

They're no mugs, they had a good record away in Europe last season. Worse teams have come here in the CL.

It's a reality check for us though tonight of not being in the CL. Just want to get the wins on board to put it to bed until the last 16.

Felt like we largely wanted to conserve energy and see it out, but were too sloppy to really control it.

Two wins from two and lots of rotation so we're in a nice position now.

A bit sloppy from us. Alisson, Quansah, Konate and Gravenberch had good games. Quansah continues to impress and is looking more and more like a great option. Gravenberch is starting to gain a bit of confidence. Jones was solid in midfield.

I thought Jota and Diaz were very poor although Jota obviously took his goal very well.

We really should have done better and we’re a bit lucky that USG were so poor. Anyway it’s a win.
