The penalty was a penalty. Although I'll agree that Sadio maximised the opportunity, but Albrighton was as brainlessly artless as Sadio was intelligent to help the ref get to the right decision. And the ref needed help as he got the wrong card out for the foul in Mo.

And that Choudry. He needs to think about what he is doing. Challenge was malicious and stupid. If that's all he can do them he'd better fuck off to Burnley or some other agricultural side.

Oh, and Danny Murphy saying that it's a pity that mo hurt himself? For fucks sake. He was taken out by a bastard of a foul. Hurt himself, my arse.

I agree but it was a horrible challenge that injured Mo. The idea that Klopp was only talking about it to deflect from the (correctly awarded) penalty is baffling.

Would love this. Highlights are usually pretty good, and given more time it would be a tremendous show.

Oh aye. Forgot about that little pearl. Klopp isn't Ferguson. He was genuinely angry about the challenge. It seemed to be at the forefront of his mind and he was venting. I don't think it was used as a cynical chace to deflect away from the penalty.

Just caught the end of the Sky highlights and the Scottish con commentator (Dave Probin?) said the Choudhury foul was as cynical as they come and that it was a clear penalty. He and the commentator he does games with are fairly decent I always think, probably why Sky don’t give them the biggest games!
