Hate the guy but he did a massive job for stoke up until this season, couldn't take them to the next level. Wonder who will replace him because that stoke team definitely has his mark on them (they leave a few marks too the b'stards)

This has made my day. Very pleased. It's well known that whilst Pulis is good friends with owner Peter Coates, Coates has been giving more and more power to his son and daughter, who are thought to dislike Pulis's management style.

What next? An outside shout of Everton, although I doubt we're that lucky. More than likely, he'll end up in the States, managing there. His son is over there and Pulis would probably view it as semi-retirement. Or, he'll take full retirement and go back down south where his family has been living whilst he stayed up in Cheshire.

Seriously though.

They've not got a bad base to build onto. Half decent stadium, vociferous fans, some good players, a lot of decent Premiership players, no immediate local rivals, Chairman happy to put money in and a media and a nation utterly convinced that they cant change the way they play.

Good job for someone there, I think.

Although its the other side I think thats a bit harsh. I would say they'll look for someone who likes to play good passing football to suit their current players. Thats not Pulis
