Fulham dominating United at Old Trafford. What times we live in.

For a team who's won 14 games in this season, I think I've seen them be the better team about two or three times.

Maguire should be off but of course the "human error" goes Manchester United's way as it always does

These are in a relegation scrap without refs and luck, their general level is that bad. they don't play better football than Luton, Everton or Palace.

Everton are truly wretched to watch but are effective game spoilers.

Offer truly nothing positive to the league.

Not sure De Zerbi has any answer to these tactics though.

What’s happened to Oliver? He was consistently the best ref - albeit with a low bar. Now he’s unquestionably one of the worst.

Very late and very aggressive.

Ultimately though height is the overriding factor in red card tackles, which is absolutely ridiculous. Compare this tackle to the ones Calvert-Lewin or Mac Allister have been sent off for in terms of the damage they could do.

Maguire tackle

https://x.com/hira_khans/status/1761417263280705664?s=46&t=UlJCusrx49tkHnEgce0dHA

Jumps into the tackle, both feet are off the ground at the moment of impact, his whole weight is going onto the Fulham players ankle, with studs showing, and he’s late.

As with Casemiro last week, and plenty of other United players over the years, he gets the benefit of the doubt  when no such benefit is given to other sides.

That's them every season though. The year Ole/Ragnick got sacked their underlying numbers were bottom half but they still  comfortably finished 6th

There isn't one. Subjective decisions are not even worth checking. Some refs will give that as a red one week and a yellow the next. It's wank.

We've had 5 PL red cards this season and the only bad tackle was Jones and it was still a harsh VAR intervention.

Even then there was still the biggest shistorm that Konate didn't get sent off in the derby for two nothing tackles.

Game raising.

Not won a league match there for 40 years  :-X Albeit they've been in the Championship for half of that

I expect we'll find a way especially if Salah and Nunez are available, the league game last season there was so poor/frustrating but we still should have won. Both of their recent visits to Anfield have proved they'll give goals up.

Think the kids and co should have a chance of dumping Southampton out in midweek. Their long unbeaten run looking to be a thing of the past and they ship goals even at Championship level.

His foot was high though. He's lunged in from a long way away, and it's only by pure luck that he's landed on top of his foot rather going into his calf & ankle.

Yeah but it's point of contact they look for more than anything else. Below the ankle and they won't send you off regardless.

The standard of reffing is just awful I’m afraid. Calvert Lewin with a dangerous high arm on Igor, should be yellow. He got the free kick.
