Not a modern thing maybe, but players who pick up ball when they’ve given away a free kick and run back with it half way up the pitch before throwing it away.  And yes, I know it’s partly to do with allowing time to get back in position, but it’s annoying the extent it’s done - no need to literally go to the other side of the pitch 

and added to that - players moving down the pitch to take a throw-in, about half a pitch length from where the ball went out.

Surely every team has at least one pacy player who is crap at defending and will achieve far more defensively by occupying an opposition player or two on the half way line. than bumbling around in his own penalty area.

My corner theory is: put your playmaker about 35 yards out to receive the measured pass out of defence and your quickest attacker on the half way line to chase the hoofed clearance / or the through ball from the playmaker. If Im wrong, id welcome tactical correction.

It winds me up that people get wound up about the ball being legitimately in the quadrant, and then the referees getting it wrong.

The whole ball all the way over the line - unless it's a corner, in which case the ball inexplicably has to be touching and everyone gets very cross about it not touching.

There are a multitude of cameras from TV companies around the pitch that will give you much better quality and with highlights all over the place than your shitty little phone.

Our players get that all the time from the Ev lot, especially if they score at the pit.

Throws, offsides & free kicks not being taken from (or anywhere near) the spot of the incident. VAR makes it worse: Lad is offside 5m inside the half but they only blow up when he's standing on the penalty spot. The ball never gets taken back to the actual spot of the offside.
