45 - Almost a third. Suarez plays a brilliant ball for Sturridge, who fires at goal from an acute angle. Not the hardest save, but a good effort.

Gerrard has been excellent today. For me this has been his best game for a while. I do wonder if it's because he's playing with Henderson and Lucas.

54' Sustained pressure by us, pushing them well back and passing it around. Gerrard finds Luis, he wriggles his way, twisting and turning the defender, across the goal but Sturridge misses. Corner, cleared, Downing has an attempt from outside the box. Wide.

57' Norwich finally gets a chance to bring men forward and attack with any conviction but nice closing down by our midfield and wingers has Norwich concede the possession.

Sturridge has a goal by the way. Easy as they come.

Ball to Downing by Henderson is great, Downing crosses with his right, walked in by the striker.

Henderson plays a lovely pass out to the right of the box. Downing's first time cross is excellent, right into the danger zone. The Norwich keeper gets a touch, but only a slight one, as the ball goes straight to Sturridge to bundle in for his 3rd in 3 games. Great stuff.

61 - Norwich must be fed up with Liverpool. Already put 8 past them this season, and we have 30 minutes left.

A far cry from the same fixture last year where we toiled ineffectively, spurned a lot of chances and conceded a sloppy goal in a 1-1 draw. We've been clinical and effective, great to see.

This is fun, isn't it? Johnson drives into the Norwich half before cutting the ball back to Gerrard, who arrows the ball into the corner from about 25 yards out. Lovely hit, keeper didn't have a chance.

We've been boss. A terrific rampaging run inside from the left from Glen and a Stevie special, shifts it with one touch and uses the cover of the defender in front of him to disguise his direct hit rifled into the keeper's bottom right corner.

Norwich have been poor but we've looked hungry and ruthless.

A great display from Lucas, always in space, always calm and available and a direct assist.

Lets see Borini and Sterling wreak havoc in the last 20 mins.

Excellent subs by the manager, gives Sturridge a deserved rest and gives the two who came on enough time to have an impact.
