A new version of the app is out now (2.1.0)

As a thank you to the users who have purchased the pro version, you will be the first to have access to the new 'Today in History' feature. This will be available for the free version soon.
This new feature displays the events that have happened on the current day such as birthdays and debuts.

Ill add the option in.

I did not think of doing this because the articles are not being updated all the time so I have hardly noticed it showing up all the time.

It should be simple to do so will be included in the next release.

I have just released version 2.3.2.

There are a couple of bug fixes but the main changes are that player and manager ages are now shown on the profile and the Twitter feature is now available to all users (not just Pro).

Great work so far. I would suggest maybe the addition of match information for the seasons (unless I'm missing it, at the moment you can see the score and attendance when you tap a result - maybe the starting lineups, subs and notes could be included there too?

The articles also seem to open in a web browser window rather than being formatted for the app itself, although that's more of a "would be nice to have" rather than a feature, as it works quite well as it is currently.

Just released version 2.3.4 to the market.

This is quite a big update which adds every goalscorer and starting lineup for every game ever.
Also provides a mini opponent player profile which shows that players stats against LFC.

2.3.6 Should start showing up on google play now.

Added the match notification and homescreen widget.

These two are currently only available to pro users as a thank you to them for purchasing the upgrade. They will soon be included in the standard version.
This release also includes some small bugfixes and improvements.

hadn't noticed the 'Don't by the sun #JFT96' before along the bottom of the app on my phone that links you through to there page on facebook, probably been there for ages but just wanted to say that's a nice touch and spreads the word.

Yeah it used to have normal adverts but one day adverts for the S*n started showing up. I have no control over the adds and it was starting to piss people off so the only way round it was to remove the adds altogether.
i thought that would be the best possible use of space instead of the adds.

Very decent of you mate, I'd imagine you lose cash from the lack odd advertisements. Aren't there several APIs like ad-choices you could use? I'm sure they don't all have the Sun.

Well even with the adds it was not like I was anywhere near being able to quit my day job or anything like that so its not really a loss.

I am exploring other options but just don;t have the time. I have got two games to get to this week!!

Just released LFChistory 2.4.0 to Google Play.

It now has every transfer in our history. You can now view all transfers per season or manager including details of total spent and net spend.

Also as requested, it is now possible to select the content that is updated in the widget.

As usual is also contains a number of performance improvements and bug fixes.

I have had to quickly push out another update (2.4.1), some phones were crashing when downloading some of the season transfers.

Fantastic app, keep up the good work mate. It has pretty much everything from the site now as far as I can see, the only things I'd suggest for later versions are:

- Articles load up in the app and are formatted for the phone instead of loading the website. The first few lines of the articles display within the app, so hopefully this should be possible.
- For the players, possibly the addition of the detailed Goals, Appearances and Milestones sections from the website.
- Ability to load more articles, at the moment it seems once you reach the end of the list, you can't load older articles.
- An interviews section maybe? Those probably are under articles already but a separate category for just interviews will make them easier for people to find.

Not wanting to rest at being the highest rated LFC App on Google Play, we have added more new features to the application.

Major speed and data improvements.

Substitution and red card details on the match result pages.

The opponent profiles now work in the free version.

The PRO version now includes a ticker on the main menu which displays the latest injury news.

Last night we released version 2.5.4 to Google Play.

This update enables the next match time used on the homescreen, widget and match alert to use the users local timezone.
It also has even more speed and data usage improvements achieved by completely redoing the way data updates are collected from the webservices.
