In my opinion, Aqua would be our best midfielder in the middle of the season. Under Kenny he could be even better than Gerrard, IF he can't keep himself fit.

Joe Cole looked as if he is, indeed, determined to resurrect his Liverpool career. On the subject of Mark Wright - surely the presenter can point out to him that the lapses in concentration came at the end of the halves, playing in what looked like 100 per cent humidity - not so hard to understand.

Cole played pretty well. Encouraging in that either someone will take him on as a result of good pre-season performances, showing that he has something to give another club, or he may stay and actually do something. Hopefully keeps it up.

Most creative player of tonight? Joe Cole. 2 assists in first half.

Most impressive performance tonight? Robinson. Solid. Didn't get beaten on the left side of defence and looked so confident.

Shout outs also to Ngog, Carroll (1 goal and 1 assist), Maxi (created 1 goal) and young Coady who took his chance very very professionally.

Flano: needs to watch those tackles.

Wisdom: needs more games under his belt with the squad. Look nervous and got turned for the 3rd china goal in the box.

Kuyt, Adams and Aqualliani looked like they needed more training and match's to get back their match fitness and finishing/passing/control.
