Start the 6 seconds from when they catch the ball, and penalize them with an indirect free kick.

Agree with this. I often find myself counting how long keepers have the ball in their hands. Sometimes goes into 20+ seconds. That particular rule is never enforced and needs to be cracked down on instantly.

They've been boom and bust since Fergie left - basically trade off qualifying for CL every other year. This is their 11th season since he left, and they've finished top four 5 times, and finished outside it 6 times. Next season they'll have no European football at all.

I'm sure they'll be better when they bin off ETH but I don't see them bouncing back into CL football next season, or for the forseeable to be honest. It's surely only a matter of time before their commercial income starts sliding too - you can bank on being a legacy club for so long, but they've basically been shite for 10 years and look further away from the top than they ever have in that period.

Just because City have never dropped points before, it doesn't mean it's impossible for it to happen, common sense tells you one day it will happen. I just think it's less likely to happen under Guardiola. Arsenal are pretty much in the same situation that we are, you have to plan for the time when City will not have Guardiola at the helm. It then becomes less definite for their domination and will then give other teams a fighting chance. But all eyes on Tuesday now and let's see which Spurs turn up.

What a hit! Patrik Schick (Bayer Leverkusen) shows good composure inside the box to fire a first-time shot inside the right post.

What a pathetic game of football, particularly from Utd. That was almost testimonial pace.
Against us, particularly for a period in the second half, they were throwing their bodies at us and the ball, as if their lives depended on it. Everton did the same against us.
Contrast that with the effort they was put in today against Arsenal.

And another repeat of one of my bug bears on time wasting. Raya in goal gets booked at the end of the game, despite falling on the ball for most of the second half.
Why on earth does a keeper have to drop to the ground, if they catch a ball standing up? It's a disgrace, and defies any logical explanation. It absolutely needs to be cracked down on. We have suffered as much as any other team, from opposing keepers doing it (and right from kick off)

Start the 6 seconds from when they catch the ball, and penalize them with an indirect free kick.
I can guarantee you that none of them will fall to the ground then, as they wouldn't be able to lie down, get up, and distribute the ball in that time.
For the love of God, please stop this cheating. Everyone can see what they're doing.

Fuck knows what version of Spurs will turn up midweek - they've had City's number repeatedly in recent years but they're in horrible form and then there's the London rivalry aspect.

Thing with that is that they've generally had managers who sit in a low block and hit them on the counter-attack: Mourinho, Conte, even Santo. You try to go toe-to-toe with this City side in a football context, you're likely to suffer.

That said, I would say Spurs' ground is the biggest hope outside of Anfield for an upset still. St James' and Stamford Bridge in the mix too.

Brilliant football by baby reds.

Koumas and Nyoni doing bits as usual.

Imagine, Arsenal fans praying Spurs make the CL  ;D

*or should say, keeping their CL dream alive.

I think Spurs probably get CL if they beat City (depending on how Villa do tomorrow of course). Villa have done a Leicester.

Knowing Spurs though they'll get the draw on Tuesday and miss out on top 4 on goal difference.
