Is Eli still running anyone?

Such a poor decision to draft a running back at #2 overall when Eli has been on a serious decline for a couple of years now. He won't be an NFL player by the end of the 2019 season.
It's not like the Giants have an O-line that would give Barkley an easy ride this season in any case. Flowers is unbelievably still a starter.

I can't imagine anyone's done a better job recently at the QB succession stakes than the Chiefs. The had a very efficient, competent QB that was getting them 10 wins. Smith had a ceiling in the playoffs though, so they sent a #1 pick to move up to get Mahomes, sat him for a season to get him to learn under Smith, and now have unleashed him.

I can see the pats going 11-5 this year. [losses to Vikings,Green Bay,Kansas,Steelers] out of the remaining schedule, maybe even 10-6 with one of the games against Miami.

The defense is that bad.

Pats were haemorrhaging points at the start of last season too, but sorted it out.

Great points and yes he has been on the decline but I’m still happy with Barkley. Need to sort that O-Line out, I think we will draft a QB in the draft top 5 pick. But yes maybe should’ve got Darnold to sit under Manning and get a RB in this years draft.

Pats have struggled early a few times but end up deep in the playoffs or SB, weren't they 4-4 everyone questioning them, then they win the SB that season?

I can see that as well but I still think we'll manage to make the play-offs but can't see us going past the divisional round if we have to go to Kansas or Pittsburgh.

The #Vikings, loaded basically everywhere, have just agreed to terms with the second most accurate kicker in NFL history. Dan Bailey waited for the right deal, now lands in Minnesota.

Great news.

Great news.

Explains why he turned down the Browns who meanwhile sign Miami castoff Greg Joseph whose college FG percentage was 69.5%. Apparently, Gonzalez has been kicking with a groin injury

I also wanted the Giants to take Darnold. The Jets could potentially be set at the quarterback position for the next 12 years. Next year's quarterback draft isn't good - it'll probably be a hell of a long time before we'll see a class like last years. I've been supporting the NY Football Giants for a hell of a long time but with a declining Manning and a porous offensive line, well, I don't know.

A lot of the preseason previews repeatedly referenced the state of the Seahawks' offensive line with the belief that Wilson could get injured and the Seahawks would drop like a stone. It has to be up there with the Giants and the banged up 49ers one as among the worst in the league

Literally the funniest thing ever in the NFL - he's an absolute moron and this is amazing.

His hardknocks trade moment now only the second most memorable moment of his career.

So bad a player retires in the middle of the game. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Weird fella to say the least.

Was one of the top corners in the league for the best part his stay at Indy though.

Would love us to have a punt at him but this has Pats written all over it.
