I'd swap Gapko for Olise. Then we're better. Or at a push Diaz for Olise (given Gapko and Jota can play left) but swapping Diaz and Nunez for Olise and Kudus is a significant downgrade.

All depends on Nunez. I'd probably swap Diaz for Olise. Given Olise is homegrown, huge potential, younger and we'd get decent money for Diaz right now. I think Diaz is really good and runs all day but his decision making is poor, I just want clever forwards again to be honest.

Nunez for Kudus is a more difficult one. Maybe worth giving Nunez another season given we'd 100% make a big loss on him. But if we swapped Diaz for Olise the front 3 would look like:

Olise Salah Jota

Would be the best front 3 with Nunez and Gakpo in reserve. Like we did with Mane I think maybe the time has come to play Mo more centrally.

Lad is just getting better and better, looking forward to seeing the player he becomes by the time hes 24/25, his attitude is such, that you feel he is just gonna keep going up levels.

Odegaard is a good example for him to follow. Looking at their career stats, it seems to be progressing similarly. If he was a bit faster, he would be next to unplayable. I know the likes of Foden and Trent have previously used a coach to improve their speed. Wonder if that’s something Harvey could do with

Well he pressured referees to give decisions that weren't right because he'd threaten them, saying they'd be kicked out (Documented in books) and pressurised referees to add more time on than they should 'Fergie Time' and pressured them into giving wrong decisions against opponents.

Doesn't that sound like cheating to you?

It's nowhere near the same thing and comparing the two things (one being gamesmanship, and the other being doping, financial doping, and bribery) reduces the reality of what City's manager and board have actually been found to be doing in the past.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers!

There are some really good posters on the site, some who I don’t agree with but respect their opinions but there are those who talk/type utter shite.

Arne Slot hasn’t even been pictured leaning yet (is that still a condition of signing?) and a couple of miscreants and rascals are disparagingly likening him to Brendan Rodgers. Not that Roger’s was that bad but the gloom sayers have picked out Roger’s least likeable character traits and passed them on to Slot.

Unbelievable.

As Sam Cooke sang ‘A change is gonna come’ and ours is coming. Let’s enjoy it even though the ride may be bumpy.

Would certainly save the production on make up.
Don't know, wouldn't be easy trying to make her look a bit more human - don't want to scare the kids too much.

This game illustrates how important the full backs are for our attacks. Robbo bombing down the flank creates overloads and space for the LW. Trent played more wide than he has done in a long while, and suddenly Salah looks lively.

* At the first goal, Robbo made a run into the box, drawing Kulusevski with him and opening a space into which Gakpo could move and release his cross.
* Second goal is Trent and Robbo combining
* Fourth goal starts with a cross from Robbo.

With Gomez at LB and Trent inverting, things could have gone very differently. This was a classic use of FBs from Klopp.

Yeah I don't get it, it's like we are being stubborn in the face of evidence to the contrary. The inverting worked for a time but we've looked so much better when we had Bradley staying wide, likewise Robbo.
