RB Leipzig captain Wili Orban makes his debut for Hungary tonight in their game vs Greece  8)  Very nice addition to their squad for sure.

:o Didn’t see that one coming.

His dad is Hungarian, so I guess he realises that he won't play for Germany (which is a shame!) and maybe Peter Gulacsi had a few words in his ear about playing for Hungary too!

England and Croatia teams.

Croatia: Livakovic, Jedvaj, Lovren, Vida, Pivaric, Kovacic, Rakitic, Kramaric, Modric, Perisic, Rebic.

England: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Chilwell, Barkley, Henderson, Dier, Kane, Sterling, Rashford.

Hopefully Winks comes on. Looking forward to seeing the Old Modric against the new Modric.

Instantly becomes their best player. Think he’s very good.

 ;D

Just read that UEFA has forced them to play behind closed doors for that swastika incident. Should be a good game. England can get their revenge. It's coming home again!

At least there's another week until we play and we then have Huddersfield and Cardiff. I suspect we may have rotated him anyway. Hopefully it's something minor.

No more injuries though.

Good. Means he definitely misses the reverse fixture with Swaziland on Tuesday so he'll have a full rest from footy. Might be just what he needs.

Agree, wouldn't be the end of the world for him to miss the odd game for us. Think the lad needs a break.

some (just Twitter) speculation it may be a hamstring problem for Salah.

Good time for a whinge about this stupid 'friendlies' they insist on having at this stage of the season for fuck all good reason, just a few short months after a world cup too. Utterly pointless.

it really is so odd watching a game like this, like some sort of training match! I have zero time for England, but it's still kinda shit on the fans of the opposing team in this situation too.

Edited to add- I can say though I am not missing that sodding band  ;D

Commentator was saying this is their first home game since the world cup final too?

Not watching England, but I'd be ashamed with the quality of play in NI v AUT if it was a Sunday League game after the Christmas party.

4-1 after being 4-0 up.

Either way, completely stupid international managers need to be sensible with players after a World Cup year.

Has Barkley actually touched the ball in the England game? They were going on about him like he was the second coming before the game.

The thing that most strikes me about the Croatia England game (apart from the pointlessness of endless Internationals in the autumn of a World Cup year) is just how awful a footballer Harry Maguire is. What a shame that Ed Woodward refused Mourinho the funds to buy him. I feel much the same about Rashford, who is the absolute epitome of the expression ‘flatters to deceive’.
