Koepka is unreal. Doesn't matter if it's a ridiculous course or a birdie fest, he can do it anywhere.

Crazy that. Add to that I think Koepka is unique in that he’s one of a few players who when they’re winning, make the game look easy as in, as if they’re relaxed and just knocking balls about a field. I’d probably put Rose, spieth in there with him...

Whereas the likes of tiger, Rory, DJ, Fowler - either make it look like brute strength or mercurial magic.

The latter is easier to accept because it’s unique and other worldly, but when Koepka is just knocking it about to within 6ft on courses that are chewing people up and spitting them out, that’s insane.
He posts in the day, he posts in the niiiiiiggghht,
That Zend...en the clowns, his timings just right.

If your thinking of going to next years Open at Royal Portrush you have to be quick, due to expected large crowds it's all ticket only, no pay on the day, & the final day had been sold out already as have the weekly & weekend bundles, tickets remain for the first 3 days & practice days.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/golf/45101833

Completely sold out now.

190,000 tickets gone a year in advance. Phenomenal.

Sorted my free ticket and 2 guest (half price) yesterday, £300 total.  Gets me a parking pass at the clubhouse, access to the clubhouse and a hospitality tent, and full week access on the course. Decent, but considering I'm sure we won't get to play our own golf course for 6 months (with no reduction in fees), think its the least we could expect.  Still, will be a brilliant event.  R and A already drooling about the quality of the course.

Oliver Fisher became the first man to shoot a 59 on the European Tour today. Par 71 though so doesn’t really count.

Quite emotional here - probably most people who are a similar age to me have been through the ringer with Tiger - first the highs as the teenage sporting hero and then the lows and now the redemption.

Those shots from the course today were something probably no other sportsman in the world could conjure. Redemption indeed.

Absolutely astonishing from Tiger Woods. I have had back problems for years, and have had surgery myself and I cannot fathom how he has had spinal fusion surgery and got back swinging a club like he is. Utterly remarkable and shows a level of dedication and mental robustness that few possess. I doff my cap to him and would love him to win another major to complete one of the greatest sporting comeback stories (because of the extremes) in history.

Although Tigers win last night was amazing to witness it wasn't surprising really.

He's been knocking on the door for several months now and he nearly took another Major down early in the season.

Him missing out on winning the FedEx cup by 1 shot tells us how good he's been.

If he stays fit I really can't see him not winning another Major next season.
