Meades was on Beeb 4 tonight, just finished, with a programme of critique on jargon.

I acknowledge he's an aquired taste and can initially seem difficult to get into, but it can be rewarding once you tune in to his style, and as usual, he was excoriatingly brilliant and captivating.

Safe is such trash but it's so addictive. Highlights include Michael C. Hall's attempt at a British acccent, and Amanda Abbington's crazy hair. Though Five was the better Coben adaptation.

Finished it yesterday - enjoyed it, easily bingeable. As you say Michael C Hall's accent is horrific! All I see is David Fisher with him. Marc Warren is always a highlight.

I really enjoyed the early episodes of the show when it skirted the line between silly/serious really well. It was loads of fun. It lost its way at some point and tried to be predominantly serious after which I lost interest quickly.

Just smashed out S1 of Goliath in about a night and a half. Realy enjoyed it the combination of destitute, blackly comic and The Firm. Thought Nina Arianda as Patty stole the show.

Thankfully, no, it reminded me how grim it was in reality. I love being bored now, it means I’m doing ok!

There’s a new series of Goliath soon, I think.

Just want to echo this post. Incredible show. One of the best-looking and best-acted things I've ever seen on TV. Usually, when you can describe a movie/show like that, I'm likely to hate it. And here, I didn't have high expectations because we go in already knowing that every single character is headed for a grisly death. But somehow none of that ever felt like a problem, and I had to fight myself to stop binging during the work week. I think, as the AV Club said, it was partly because the show managed to make us care about the characters and feel genuinely bad about what was happening to them.

So just let me reiterate: EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THE TERROR.

Finished yesterday Bosch's latest season. Another solid one (it's a constant 7 this series) that I think I enjoyed more than its last couple ones. Maybe because it had closure on a couple of subjects. Also because I got to see the badassness of Lt. Daniels again.

My other half watched that,i binned it after 2-3 episodes i found it boring.

I'll have to tell her it's being cancelled now.

Been a few shows recently that got cancelled that were picked up by other networks pretty quickly.

Been limiting it to 2 episodes a day,but right now i haven't got a clue what the end game is in it.

Decent watch. Series will probably develop in who has it bigger contest but my hopes are still high because of Sheridan.

Only 2 episodes in on The Terror but fucking hell I'm hooked already. Unrelentingly tense and I dare say it rather put the shits up me, a veritable pants-packer and make no mistake! That scene in the 1st episode genuinely unsettled me. 10/10 would recommend get on it lads

Wow, 'The Terror' isn't half grim. Didn't really need the silly monster or the over the top cliched villain. The reality of such a situation is scary enough.

First six episodes or so were brilliant and then it gets too nasty to enjoy really.

I thought the same, the first 6 when they were on the ship were excellent and very atmospheric but as soon as they went onto the open ice it got a bit gruesome.
