He is a great media and fanbase manipulator. At the level of Klopp at least. But whereas Klopp comes from a point of honesty, charm, witt and velvet glove-iron hand combo of humour and not giving in to media games, Pip is a very different operator. As if the game being played wasn’t football, where eleven determined snides will forever have a good chance against any tactic or talent. He behaved as if it was unsportsman like for teams to even attempt to disrupt his pristine vision. All of this was happening with world class cheats and snides like Busquets being central figures in his side and his club being the most disgusting manipulation and covert cheating transfer operators around.
And while there is plenty of dust in everyone’s eye, Pip’s talent for ignoring the beam in his own is legendary.
