Is one of the cross beams out of skew on the treadle?
« on: November 21, 2018, 11:55:03 am »
Logging in and then browsing the site currently seems incredibly slow, complete with the usual server errors cropping up.

Rest of t'web seems fine for me, it just seems to be rawk.

Are we under attack or has someone forgotten to put the coins in the meter..

I don't do polite so fuck yoursalf with your stupid accusations...

Right you fuckwit I will show you why you are talking out of your fat arse...

Yep, same here, painfully slow loading any pages since yesterday and occasionally get a 502 Bad Gateway as well.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Just taken 44 seconds from typing in my password to getting logged on.

And to get to the logon screen, a variant from 502 bad gateway...

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

Yeah been bad this morning. The bad gateways are usually restricted to high traffic times (HT/FT threads)

Anyone got any idea why, when trying to gain access to the site using MS Edge, I am suddenly getting the following message every time I try to open RAWK?

Cannot securely connect to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.
Try this:

Opened using Chrome in the end but I tend to browse on Edge normally - appreciate an explanation/solution if anyone can help please?

I cheated the autocorrect parser, it's very simple as it looks and behaves as if it only does a single pass through the word(s) matching what it finds.

If you quote my post you'll see that I inserted a couple of control characters within the word, the parser sees them as part of the word on its single pass and obviously it doesn't match to what's in the autocorrect list so it gets through. It's only after that stage that the rendering of the text is done.

So typing 's will be displayed as just 's whereas Jurgen's gets through the autocorrect and is then rendered as if correctly.

Really, to close such loophole, the autocorrect check should be performed after the rendering pass but that would likely be at a considerable cost to performance and responsiveness.
