Watching him struggle to not mansplain the petrol in a turbo-charger bit was a real highlight. As soon as she said it his face freezes and you can see him desperately wanting to correct her but knowing that he shouldn't.

Haha is that meant to reflect she now likes him, or is it just meant to be them fixing the ‘error’ of her looking a bit moody in the earlier version? Hard not to over analyse everything!

As said, his little reactions are priceless. Particularly enjoyed the boy who’s bottom he patted saying “Byr Alan” in a slightly overly friendly way which he responded to as them kind of stopped himself as you could see him thinking if that gave the wrong idea to people. I think!

This show is so clever. I've made a point of watching each episode at least twice, it's so easy to miss things.
Apparently the librarian was in 2 episodes of I'm Alan Partridge. Also recognised the "make up operative" she was the girl in Nuns on the Run.

I liked that Alan is starting to get frustrated with it now. Before he was just politely taking it but now he looks like he's ready to fight back. Its evolving with the show just like Alan is.
