ESPN reporter tweeted that manager Barmby has been suspended by Hull for comments made to the media.


Anyone know what he's supposed to have said?

Haha, no not really. I'd never even heard about this until now. Just wanted to vent at anyone thinking Hull can be considered "destination of the month"..

Listening to that short interview, it's the classic Benitez situation.

The owner has told him money is available, yet when he's come to spend it, all of a sudden, the powers that be are less inclined to spend any.


I don't think he's said anything at all, out of turn in that interview, but there's a definate undertone of, "I asked for a table, and they bought me a lampshade".

Hull City fan's are Man Utd fan's who jumped on the bandwagon when they got promoted to the prem.

So small time they had a pitch invasion when they got relegated...and proceeded to swarm around Gerrard like a pack of rats.

The hull fans I know are all sound. was at the wigan away when they were relegated and the fans were great. Like most away fans really.

I would hazzard a guess and say, a home town boy, who played for, and is now managing his hometown club, has more of a vested interest and is more concerned with the success or not of that club, than the Allam's.

But thats just my opinion.  ;)


Maybe Nick just isn't as big an arse kissing yes-man, that they thought.
