Just wondering whether to keep one continuous topic or do a different one for each game?

One for each game with the new pics for each game posted and the old thread locked. Much easier to go through an 8 page thread than find where you last started in a 100 pager.

I agree. Separate threads will make the threads for older games disappear into oblivion. Having everything in one thread, updated after each game, will assure that it's stays near the top.

I was under the idea that after each game a set of photos would be posted from that game as suggestions and those used in the pictures. Which I thought would be quite good.

It can still be done within one thread - Update the first post with new pictures and change the title.
