So at least you have moved away from Keita being injury prone before moving here, I’ll take that as an admission of being wrong  ;)

Why don’t you look at his stats?   He missed a grand total of 2 games for the abductor muscle injury and 1 game for the thigh muscle injury.  Like I said - his only ‘serious’ injury was the fractured foot.

You said above Matip had missed 3  games in two seasons. That isn’t true though - he missed 15 games in the 14/15 season, not 3?

He doesn’t actually like Ribena, he flippantly said it once and now keeps getting sent cases of it, it’s in his book (which is fantastic actually, quite funny).

As far as I can tell there are no concussion protocols like the NFL where the player has to go to an independent neurosurgeon and pass a series of tests before they can even go back to practice let alone play. So my guess it's just up to Milner and the club, doubt anything will be said until Klopp's presser.

Always a case of waiting for Klopp's pre-game conference for injury updates, unless the local journos are briefed which they don't appear to have been.

So what's the latest with Konate, Ramsay and Jones?  If we do get new owners, first thing I'd want from them is to demand a revamp of our medical team because it's insane how many injuries we pick up, long term and short term.  Feels like every match we have someone new missing.

Not heard anything about Ramsay or Jones but given how Klopp said Konaté couldn't take the smile off his face after his world cup call up, I think we're just being cautious for the players benefit. It's probably one of those knocks that he could have played through but we decided not to risk it (for him).

Curtis situation seems ridiculous, not exactly getting injured from being over played as he's hardly ever fit to play. Fuck knows what's going on there. You just expect 2 or 3 to be missing from the next match day squad after every game now.

Fuck the World Cup, I hope our players come back unscathed. But the very thought of another three-week preseason scares me... What do we do in these intense training sessions that puts players out of the game? Praying for a different approach this time...

I thought this, and i know a lot of people will take the attitude of "we shouldn't be resting players to play for their countries", but i think this sort of thing probably goes a long way with players in respect of being happy playing here and under Klopp. Pretty much everything we've achieved in recent years comes down to us having such a close knit, happy squad and things like this will only help with that.

Me too, and every time it gets bumped I think another player's leg has fallen off.

If we can get through until Christmas with no-one getting crocked at the WC, or Keita tearing his calf muscle brushing his teeth, it'll be a minor miracle.
I've got OCD, but I prefer to call it CDO so it's in alphabetical order.

Still no word on what was ailing Jones causing him to miss the last two games. Likely got some injury, if not another recurrence of stress fracture, but maybe trying not to draw attention to it while we have no games

Here he is two days ago. Pretty suspicious how they cut off the image of his leg below the knee. He's obviously wearing a protective boot.

Or, you know, maybe he's not injured at all, which would probably make more sense than us keeping a serious injury quiet. Ljinders was asked about injuries and no mention of Jones.

More likely FSG do not want news of Jones injury to get out there right before sale. Multiple billions of dollars could be riding on this.
