Love the team and it will be brilliant for both Gordon and Bradley.

In particular I am looking forward to seeing Conor as he will be the first person from Northern Ireland to play in a competitive game for Liverpool since Sammy Smyth in 1954. That's a huge honour and many fans from Northern Ireland will be watching with pride.

With Kaide making his debut tonight, it means Derby County will receive a windfall of £100,000 tonight, an appropriate time it has to be said.
Yes that’s good news for them in their current state

Shame we have to rest Milner because we're already running out of midfielders. There's nobody to hold or play as 6 in that midfield picked.

You have no shame

Wow, that's some record. Hope he has a good game.

I'll be heading or kicking every ball with him as if he were my own. Hopefully he has a great game and the experience is bound to help him. To get a game for Liverpool is a fantastic achievement and I wish Bradley and Gordon the very best......they will be buzzing.

As for the game, I think we'll see big performances from our midfield and from Origi and Minamino.........all will be trying to show that they deserve more game time. Curtis has all the attributes to boss midfield as have Naby and Ox. Origi needs a big game and I hope this will be it.

Midfield will be interesting to see. We could get calved open in there, excited to see the younger lads. Should be fun.

Fucking hell, I know Norwich is out in the sticks, but didn't expect any vets to be playing tonight.

Fun team, almost what most here predicted. Should be an enjoyable watch.

Klopp hasn't been shying away from rotation this year.

Btw, who was kid who played defensive mid in one match last year? Is he still around?

*cough, cough*

It’s exactly what I predicted, though I did have Corness and O’Rourke as potential bench-warmers.

Wouldn't have played Keita but would be a risk to start Milner 3 days after playing. I imagine it would have been Milner instead of Keita had Trent not been ill at weekend.

We have 1 injury in midfield. We are just resting Hendo and Fab for a league cup game.

Does that mean we are running out of midfielders? When we are fielding three first-team players in midfield?

3 injuries to our defenders caused a crisis for us last season.

With Thiago and Harvey injured, we are only 1 midfield injury away from a new crisis me thinks.

Otherwise pretty happy with the team, can't wait to see how they do.

3 injuries to our defenders caused a crisis for us last season.

With Thiago and Harvey injured, we are only 1 midfield injury away from a new crisis me thinks.

That's because we had three senior CBs and all got injured. We have 7-8 senior midfielders.

If both Hendo and Fab were injured we will suffer but that's not the case. For the #8 role I am confident that Keita, Curtis and Ox can do the job. Thiago is only out short-term too.

Leighton Clarkson - he started against Midget land? (though technically it wasn't his debut - he played in the game against Villa the season before)

Yeah thats the one, thanks! I remember him being decent enough in that match.

Milner's getting rested.

Fabinho? yes, he is still around, being rested.

Never let an opportunity go, eh?

A great atmosphere at a packed Carrow Road. A reminder we have two teenage debuts in Kaide Gordon (with a nice £100,000 windfall to Derby County) and Connor Bradley. We also have Tyler Morton and James Balagizi among the subsitutes tonight. Exciting times for the young ones, and Joe Gomez is captain for the night.

3 We get a second corner this time on the left after some good work from Origi. The ball goes in and it's a goal for Minamino, who is right by the net and smashes it in.
