I had a look at Friday's games in preparation (probably why it lost, jinxed it) and there are Dutch 2nd Division games - none of them made it into the bet though.

If it matters to you in any way at all, Getafe passed my tests ;).

I just left them out becuase I didn't quite need an evens shot this time, with my first one being bigger than evens.

first bet: 10 pound on Bayern Munich (-1) to beat Hoffenheim (2.2)

Ribery, Robben and Gomez all returning from injury and all starting;
Gomez has 16 goals from 19 starts
Robben has 3 goals from 2
Ribery has 3 goals from 12.

Altintop, Lahm, Van Buyten, Muller, Schweinsteiger, Klose, Olic so many genuine goal threats.
Bayern are the leagues second highest goalscorers

Babel will start, yet to score for Hoffenheim and as we know, hardly prolific at the best of times
Mlapa the big Tonglese striker will start who has 2 goals from 10 league starts this season, both scored at home - can't see Hoffenheim scoring here to be honest.
Hoffenheim has conceeded away from home in the bundesliga, in there last 7 games.

Bayern's results at home, most recent listed first:
5-1 Kaiserslautern, Gomez X3, Robben, Muller.
3-0 St Pauli, Altintop, Lahm and Ribery
4-1 Frankfurt, Tymoschuk X2, Muller, Gomez.
3-0 Nurnberg, Gomez X 2, Lahm
4-2, Freiburg, Gomez, Tymoschuk, Toni Kroos and Demichellis

Late post was waiting to see if Gomez was starting he is the key, he has Ribery, Robben and Muller starting behind him.

People still underrate Cristiano Ronaldo.

first bet: 10 pound on Bayern Munich (-1) to beat Hoffenheim (2.2)
2nd bet: 20 pound on Udinese to win away, to Palermo. (3.1)

Obviously a very talented kid, but Pastore hasn't been great in recent weeks, scored against Fiorentina but was lacklustre in his general play - the team lost 4-2, at home to an average Fiorentina side, throwing away a 1-0 and a 2-1 lead.

Palermo have won 4 of their last 5 home games, which is of course a good record - i seen them against Brescia and they scraped an unconvincing 1-0 win, destroyed a Pazzano-less Sampdoria 3-0.

In Palermo's last game they lost 1-0 away to a poor Bologna side.

Miccoli, Pinilla and Goian are out injured, ilicic looks to have a hit lull - though i am a fan of his.
Abel Hernandez the skillful 20 year old striker has just returnt from a hamstring injury and there were rumours he was going to quit Palermo, after he was robbed at gunpoint    -     http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2914/champions-league/2011/02/17/2355910/palermo-striker-abel-hernandez-robbed-at-gunpoint

Udinese are in great form at the moment, away from home in there last 5 games:
Cesena 0-3, Inler and Di Natale (2)
Juventus 1-2, Cristian Zapata and Sanchez
Genoa 2-4, Armero, Denis, Di Natale and Sanchez
Milan 4-4, Di Natale (2),Denis and Sanchez
Lazio 3-2, Sanchez and Denis - Udi lost to a 90th minute own goal.

Inler, Pinzi and Asamoah will ensure Pastore can't get his foot on the ball, and after that the emphasis is on the front 3 - who are in great form.

Udinese are sitting in 5th place, 4 points off European cup places.
Palermo are 8th, 8 points off European cup places.
People still underrate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Good luck mate. Fancy Udinese myself, in great form, but Palermo's home for the last 3 seasons has been brilliant.

Might back Alexis Sanchez e/w FGS at 10/1. Scored in 6 of his last 8 games.

first bet: 10 pound on Bayern Munich (-1) to beat Hoffenheim (2.2)
2nd bet: 20 pound on Udinese to win away, to Palermo. (3.1)
3rd bet: 60 pound on Stoke to beat West Brom (1.9)

Stoke last 5 home games:
Sunderland 3-2, Carew, Huthx2 - scrappy win after being behind twice.
Bolton 2-0, Etherington, Higginbotham - goal in either half.
Everton 2-0, Jagielka OG, K.Jones
Fulham 0-2
Blackpool 0-1

Last two games were away, Arsenal 1-0 and a Zigic winner in the last minute for Birmingham 1-0.

West brom past 5 away results
Man City 3-0
Blackburn 2-0
Fulham 3-0
Bolton 2-0
Villa 2-1, Scharner in the last minute.

Stoke are a good outfit at home, with some big dangerous strikers  - Sidibe is out, so Jones (not scored in 15 games) Walters Stoke's second highest goalscorer, Fuller or  Carew will start upfront, im guessing Carew and Fuller, Etherington is injured.
WBA's only genuine goalthreat is Odemwingie who has 9 for the season in the premiership

Simply put though, Roy Hodgson in an away premiership match is enough for me to lump on Stoke.

The only thing that worries me is that the two other time's every man, his wife and dog have all lumped on Stoke, they've fucked up (Home against Fulham and West Ham).

Ok, Tomas took a while to get going but did it in two sets no probs in the end.  Left me with approx £54.  Did a few golf bets for later in the week with 14 quid leaving me bang on track with £40 after stage 2.

Stage 3 - I fancy underdog Fognini to beat Blake in the Tennis starting in a mo. He's just shy of 2-1.  So, just had half of my £40 bank on him incase he gets beat then i can drop back to stage 2.

Fognini? Really Pete!?

His win in the last round was his first win on a hard court for 12 months.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Yeah crap bet really Gianni as the result proves.  I read somewhere that he was a man on the up. I know his French Open QF was on the clay but just had a feeling against the wildcard Blake.

Anyhow, good old Feds bailed me out in straight sets and I still have my £40 ready for another stage 3 bet today.

Any Tennis tips mate?
