re freemium games, I can deal with not being able to buy all the weapons/items etc without paying real money, but it's the concept of running out of Energy/Petrol that pisses me off.

To play a game for 20 mins and then be forced to put it down and wait an arbitrary time before playing again is annoying.

I agree with the ludicrous amounts they charge for "pots of gold" but people are obviously paying for them so they will keep on doing it, the simpsons game and clash of clans are some of the worst ones for this IMO, as they disadvantage you if you don't pay by having timed events or  leaving you open to raids from other players so I have deleted any that I thought were taking the piss. Why bother putting effort into a game like Zelda when you can make millions from a basic puzzle game / tv franchise and free advertising through social media?

So what's the best internet browser with flash capability? Photon or Puffin?

Neither have flash capability. They just stream from a remote computer that does and neither is very good. Photon prob being the better. Both are paid apps to I think?

Navfree is ok but takes up alot of room. Waze is just as good but takes up alot less room. Both are free too.

Just upgraded the kids ipad to 7.0.2. It now has the video player (I think) coming up when I swipe from the bottom, I find it really annoying - does anyone know if this can be turned off ?

Isn't it the control centre which comes up from the bottom? Sound, brightness, wifi, Bluetooth options, etc?

Didn't know what it was so thanks for that, just went into settings and turned off both options. Has anyone noticed that the search on a page is missing ? I use this when I am looking for say a horses name on a long list but i cannot see it now. Not sure that I like the new colours but suppose after a while you get used to these things.

So annoying as well, it keeps telling me when more than 4 people I follow have re-tweeted a tweet, I don't really want that as a notification, it really has nothing to do with me personally so why would I wont it to pop up on my lock screen! Also adverts keep coming up on my news feed which is annoying!

Using the sky sports one but it's so fucking slow and doesn't include alot of the foreign league and cup games.

Futbol 24 for me. You select the games you're interested in and it notifies you immediately after a goal has gone in along with scorer and red cards (if there has been one). Saves you checking your phone every few mins! Livescore has a more user friendly interface though.

Been using an app called Jumi to watch whats on my PC via my phone. Basically so I could watch footy streams on the move. The frame rate is terrible and as a result is jumpy. Is this due to the speed of my internet connection, the software itself or the hardware of my phone (Iphone 4) ??

For any of you boxing fans, Real Boxing is a great game. Think they've got it on offer at the moment for 99p. Really addictive. You have to make lots of in-game purchases but it all boils down to being skilled. I haven't spent a penny and I'm at legendary level.

Browsers with flash (like Skyfire) let you stream matches directly to phone.

For pc to iPhone you can try these: www.extremetech.com/computing/138762-how-to-use-your-ios-device-as-your-pc-second-display
