Fuck City, come on Redmen, 3 pts and normal service is resumed. Great result by the bitters.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Surprising result, never thought they had it in them. City really need to bag a few today, then all set up for their derby game. Just when it all looked over...

City should smash Wolves. No excuses. They have nothing to fight for and frankly they're completely inept in all respects. A Championship side would be easier to beat than them.

So if City win today, they are 3pts behind, with a superior goal difference and have to play them at home.  City can go top next weekend.

However, that game may not decide the title:

City have Newcastle away (chasing CL qualification, who beat Utd 3-0) and QPR (chasing PL survival) at home. Two very difficult games.
Utd have Swansea (already safe) at home and Sunderland (already safe) away.  Should be an easy six points.

At least it is in City's own hands now.

I think Sunderland will be a serious game for United. O'Neill is a stubborn little man and he'll get his players to fight for every last point. (Pretty sure he's not a big fan of United either)

Beat Wolves, win the derby, and don't fuck up anywhere else City. Should be yours then.

I turned it off and went upstairs at half time ::) Good game by all accounts and a fantastic advert for the league which makes up for that disappointing shitfest of football yesterday in the Chelsea game.

34 attempts on goal between them, 18 on target. A nice response from the bitters to being knocked out of the cup semi.
