Fantastic side to watch.Laudrup has just carried on where Brendan left off.
That right peg hits it and you see the future arc of the ball and time goes al gluey like a Dali painting, and for a second there's a 20yr old StevenGerrard and your young self cheering him on through the prism. His big smile fades in an the net is shivering and J.Hart's trying not to look grateful for the privilege of being that close to greatness

I think what they're looking for is stability, say what you like about Sam his teams are never in too much trouble, West Ham in the Premier League are rarely out of it.

we'll see...he'll ask them to hoof it longer probably

(When Liverpool will play like Barca Swansea?)

Hazard played well, but it's still sickening to see Pearce's tongue already lodged up his arse.

Torres with a dig at not being played enough, which is fair enough in the sense that you can't get a rhythm without getting a string of games.

Bettingbias.com do a "Lawro vs. the Bookies" feature - basically highlighting how wrong Lawrenson is most of the time.

Worth a laugh.

Torres with a dig at not being played enough, which is fair enough in the sense that you can't get a rhythm without getting a string of games.

Which for strikers is really important, if you're not on the pitch you can't ever score.

However for Torres, he can't really complain, his form was shocking for a considerable period of time and he did have some backing during that period (consecutive games), but there are other factors to consider - such as the team and getting a result.

I was always fairly confident that it would only be a matter of time before he found his goal scoring boots again, some claim he's lost some pace, but for me he was more than just legs. He's a real athlete, big strong, has a trick up his sleeve and is a very good finisher (when confident) - Shearer was never Usain Bolt, not even close and his all round game and physique helped him score plenty of goals.

Apparently, they were around 3,000 below capacity. Looked a lot more than that and not just in the Wigan end.

Just saw the BBC highlights from the Aston Villa- Everton game.In that moment where Jelavic is sent down by the Villa defender which ultimately led to red card for the latter, the commentator says:"Was he the last man?".Has he been in a coma for the last 6-7 years or whatever since the rule has changed? There is no fucking last man anymore ffs!Just a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.
