The second half was pretty tame compared to the first, and the only standout from the stands that caught the eye was Hendo, he really was running the show, even his body language gesticulating to Woodburn when he was off the ball was nice. Kent had a nice turn, but Gomez really had poor service on the right to be honest, he doesn't look like a proper right back at the moment. Grujic had a fantastic go at the beginning, but he was rather anonymous for the rest of the half. It looked like we needed a proper AM upfront to get the forwards into the game. Sturridge looked a bit jaded, he really looks like he was trying to take it easy, could have been the heat.
Yes, it was hot, I was sweating in my seat at 10 p.m. in the evening. But it was a good run out. In the end, loved how Hendo gave the trophy to Woodburn so he can pretend to loft it up like a captain. The future looks bright.
