He'd be a good back up to any of the the Front Three to be fair. And Klopp already knows and likes him. Probably not a Klopp signing in this era though. Jurgen would be looking to sign someone younger, much younger.

Some games we've brought the energy and intensity, other games we've controlled and picked our moments.  If we turn up with intensity we win this one.  Press their defenders and they will gift goals.

They are not a patch on their former selves, are they? Very brittle at the back, and once they start making mistakes, as they will no doubt do, we will have chances that can profit from. Will the forwards bring their shooting boots though? It's a very uneven end to the season, and inconsistency is the theme. I'll still tip a win for the Reds, though.

I'm assuming they'll rotate quite a bit given we're in the middle of 3 games in 6 days for them and it's a cup semi final.at the weekend. Even if they don't we should be expecting to win.

I saw them against Spurs, their defence is shocking. How Luiz gets games for them is a mystery; he makes about three fuck ups a game on average. They also seemed to tire out after 70 minutes as well and continually let Spurs get in behind.

Nah. Just 1 or 2 maximum ..

EDIT: just 1: https://www.premierleague.com/players/33185/Harvey-Elliott/stats

Are you sure that’s just for this season and doesn’t include two appearances for Fulham?

Fully expect to be shafted by the referee.

Seems par for the course ever single game now. Penno not given, our forwards being kicked off the pitch, goalkeeper assaulted - nothing given.

Hoping that we send a massive FUCK . YOU. to Riley and play the kids and deliberately lose 50-0 while laughing about it

But I think we won't :)

I expect both TAA and Robbo to play this one since both had rests recently. Assuming Matip is not fit, then its the usual back 5.

MF, I'm still expecting Milner to get a game soon but probably not this one, and I think Keita is also a guaranteed starter so its hard to call any 3 from 4 (including Fabinho and Wijanldum).

I think Salah needs a game off but not sure when is the right time to do it so probably the usual front 3. Its a full week after this game before the next so that might be OK.

Good point. Remember him having an amazing game against us while playing for Benfica. Things are different now though. Everyone has caught up on what a fraud of a defender he is, and even him seems to acknowledge it. There’s absolutely nothing of that misplaced self confidence he used to have.

Pretty sure he played Left Back for them didn’t he? Some team they had that night when you look at what a lot of them went in to achieve. Luiz, Luisao, Ramires, Aimar, Di Maria, Cardozo, Coentrao. Decent.

That's right and he looked great. They had it figured out in Benfica, you can survive with a brain dead Luiz at fullback but not in the middle. They had Maxi Pereira there too, who was really good for Benfica and Uruguay at the time. That was a really decent squad indeed.

So I'd like to see it played deadly seriously, Champions League-style from us, must win, but patient.

21 points clear with the title in the bag, the front 3 playing[if they all play] against that Arsenal defence who have David Luiz & co, & a couple of yous are still shittin the bed,  do a favour & do one, we should batter these if we have our shootin boots on.

Why, because I said they'll come at us??  Please don't confuse this with 'shittin the bed' - for me it's just like Burnley, we are everyone's prized scalp now and nothing will be a walkover, but then nothing ever was, was it.

I think it's a common view in the last two seasons that it's a back 5 now, and they usually all play if fit. It's a complete unit, and Alisson is so instrumental to how we play that he's just as much a part of our defence as the others.

They've conceded three in the last six, and that includes four games against teams above them in the table. That five-man defence is working. It is Arsenal after all, but given the form we're in right now this is not going to be an easy game.

Excited for this one. Think we’ll see a reaction from the team after Saturday’s result. Can see Klopp going with the usual back five and front three with Keïta in midfield alongside Fabinho and Wijnaldum.
