Just a reminder that the title of this draft is Awesome Cartoons Draft (80's, 90s, 00's)! We've had a couple of picks from the 60s already, so let's just say that everyone is allowed one pick pre-80s if they wish. But the Golden Age of Animation and obvious classics from Warner Bros, Disney, and Hanna Barbara are all ruled out. Nothing against those eras, I just thought it would be more fun to focus on a tighter period which most of us grew up in.

Loved Saved by the bell.

Captain Planet was very good.  One of the best themes.  Used to watch that every Saturday morning.

Around the world in 80 days was strangely very watchable as well.

Haha nice! That theme tune is one of my favourite ever and Jayce is probably my favourite cartoon too. I think there's a pattern developing in all my picks now. Lasers and made in France

I'm sorry Nessy, but Doctor Who is ineligible. I've been meaning to bring up the human-acted pick, as I realise it's a massive grey area. I know DW is for kids as well, but it's shown post 6pm in the UK and for me it doesn't really fit in with this draft. As an example, if you wanted to pick The Sarah Kane Adventures then that would be fine. All the shows need to be made for kids. If adults like them then great, but family shows are something different IMO. It's why The Simpsons and Futurama are also banned.

Love the Defenders of the Earth pick. Very underrated show! It could make a great movie as well.
