About 10/12 days ago, I deposited £50 in my account, and just put surefire bets on, mostly shite odds, below 1.50 for singles, but it adds up. Got to £100 and withdrew the original £50. Playing with winning from this stage on. Since then, I have lost two bets, but they've been "worth a punt" ones when it's not much of my account, e.g £30 on Olympiacos after 70 minutes yesterday. Since the first withdrawal I have withdrawn a further £400 (a few quid here and there) and had £397 in my account last night. Every penny of which went on an NBA bet Scribble posted in that thread, which came in comfortably. Woke up to £760 in my account this morning.
So tonight, I thought, I've made quite a bit from this, and I'm going for it. If I lose I lose, If I win, I withdraw so I have £50 left in the account.
£500 on Newcastle/Bilbao
£135 on Newcastle
£125 on Bilbao
If I lose, I'm still £450 better off than I was when I started, and if I win, I'm about £2,500 up.
EDIT: Of which at least £1500 will go on shares in Lloyds. fantastic long-term investment.
