I thought Sturridge played well actually, he's never really had any time or space on the ball yet looks the most likely to make something happen alongside Keita.
Origi and Sturidge not doing much, but does Klopp risk Salah or Firmino against a team of cloggers who are almost being egged on by the ref to injure our players?
Where is Henderson to get into Burnley's faces and tell the ref to do his fucking job after they kick us all over the pitch? Do your job captain.
Been thinking that for a while.
Bloody hell. Gomez injury is really worrying. We’ve been bang average aside from Naby and VIrgil. Perhaps understandable with the changes and a bit better in the last 15. Ref allowed Bardsley a couple of shithouse challenges so he’s kept doing it. Matip is putting the fear in me. Looks really sketchy.
Do the thing that people criticised him for doing when he got sent off last week?
In other news, De Gea has gone full Pickford over at Old Trafford
In such a sumptuous festival of shite, I wouldn't be so quick to pick a winner..But he'd make the shortlist
Sturridge doesn't really work as a starter anymore.
You can't expect them to open up and be sliced apart just to entertain. They're doing what they have to do to get a result for their fans, and it's up to us to kick things up a notch or two because we've been sterile so far. Keita is looking good, Origi seems to be wasted on the wing. Need to be a bit braver on the ball outside their box.
Don't know why Gomez was even starting this game.
I know people hate henderson/gerrard comparisons but fucking hell that was quite the slip.
its a massive mistake by klopp, no idea what this god damn obsession is with playing him at full back. if hes not playing CB give him a rest.burnley players putting some vicious tackles in, captain should be more vocal to the ref early on but he was busy doing nothing.hoping for a better second half.
Salah and Firmino to come on at some point early in the second half. Firmino has been extremely poor and needs a bit of a rest but right about now I'd still have him in ahead of either Sturridge or Origi. That is, if he doesn't play in midfield.
Yard dogs. Always with our players. Hope Gomez is okay.Fucking hate it when a team tactic is to just take our players out. Don't see them trying that on a Man City player. We've got enough. Let's stretch the bastards to breaking point second off and whack a couple past them.
