Need a couple of wins to finish, respect for Klopp lads, and not least for a positive platform to build on for the new man.
Come on Reds!

Feels rather underwhelming after living with Klopp all these years.

The greatest.

The imminent arrival of Slot makes this departure ever more real. I know Liverpool FC is bigger than one man, and we will always continue on regardless, but its sometimes hard to remember that fact when you become so attached to one manager.

Shankly, Dalglish and Klopp - three forces of nature that I think more than ever reminded the fanbase what it is to be a Liverpool supporter. The fear is forgetting that when he goes. I wish nothing but the very best for him after this. Pray to god our paths cross again in a beautiful way. Until then, let's back Arne to the hilt.

If we do appoint Arne Slot and shop in the Eredivisie, I hope that Johan Bakayoko and Jorrel Hato are on our list ...

This is the only article that I've seen that even remotely mentions the issue of their cheating: https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/man-city-toughest-opponent-asterisk-titles-b1152029.html

Good article, but I don't like this part:

"City have since won five of the past six titles, only missing out in Guardiola’s first season and to Liverpool in the Covid-disrupted 2019-20 campaign."

as it implies that the covid break had anything to do with us winning. Dickheads like to asterisk our triumph for that very reason.

Getting that feeling of dread as we’re close to appointing his successor and his final few games approach us fast. To say he’s going to be missed is a huge understatement.. I adored Rafa, never thought I would love a manager as much but Klopp is to me what Kenny is to some of our slightly older fans (being polite to you old farts 😄). I’ve loved every minute of having him as our manager, even during the lows, it was alright cos we had Klopp. I’m over the fact that we messed up the title race, still hurts a little but I would much rather this wonderful man gets the best send off that he so richly deserves.

Add on for a manager? Not heard that before!

They have to pay us 2 million if he doesn't grow a head of hair double quick time, and we have to pay them and him both 3m each if it falls out due to stress. Its a very sophisticated contract.

Yeah, you get massive groups of teenagers heading to the beach on hot weekends. There's usually reports of train delays later in the day due to fighting. Back in 2021 there were people attacked with an axe and a samurai sword.

Lifeboat Road was absolutely rammed full of cars all the way up a few years ago, too, it's only recently they've tried to control the traffic going up the hill.

Funnily there's a house on Shireburn that's been on the market since November 2022. If you look on Google Maps it's labelled as 'The I.Graham Residence' - didn't we have a physics chap named Ian Graham working for the club? I cycled past Lijnders near Lifeboat Road as he was out for a run during lockdown, too.

Maybe Bobby was hoping Shorrocks Hill was going to reopen?
I remember in '85, just after Heysel. There was a massive mob of Liverpool and Everton fans going down by the squirrel reserve at the bottom of Victoria Road. Loads carrying sticks and looking for trouble. I remember the Liverpool and Everton bucket hats most had on.

One time back in those days there was murder on the train going to Freshfield, then dickheads everywhere on Victoria, in the pinewoods and on the beach. I got a taxi back because I couldn't be arsed with that lot going back on the train. It's always been dodgy there in summer. Dickheads arrive from all over the place.

I don't recall Ian Graham. I'll look that house up. I remember when John Moores lived on Shireburn Road. At least it's quiet there. I don't think I'd have enjoyed living on Lifeboat Road in summer, like Bobby did.

Although I’m in favour of this, one thing that did cross my mind is what happens to tourists? If an 18 year old smoker comes here in a few years will they not be able to smoke? Could that harm things like tourism in the future as the age at which you can smoke increases and foreign smokers can’t smoke while they are here?

I'd equate to it drinking ages across the world - ours is old than some in Europe and younger than the US but that doesn't impede tourism
