Has anyone asked how we got beat by such a poor side (Forest) yet?
You’re right they’re a poor side Terry - in fact they’re utter crap.
But let’s be truthful - Utd. have, under Ten Haag, adopted two traits that are essential in a team wishing to achieve something; first, they win the majority of ‘second balls’ and will happily give up free kicks rather than failing to engage; and second, they’re very aggressive - both in the tackle and with headers.
In the Klopp years, we’ve been a magnificent team. One criticism, however has been a constant - that we’re ‘too nice’. I think it has some validity; Liverpool teams historically were described by Souness as having the capability of playing sublime football, but equally, being able if necessary, to ‘mix it’ if required.
I’d love us to be ‘orrible from now until the end of this season.
