"Foul on Milner not given right in front of ref ffs"

"Should've been a pen"

Ah Jota got thrown to the ground as well, not sure either were pens.

Pretty poor really. Sadly I think Kelleher was poor for both. Matip too slow to see the run on the second too.

I guess its a showcase for some of the players, Gomez & Tsimikas in particular but isn't working. I would go 4 up top and play with 2 in midfield - why not see what happens!

My mate watching it reckons that Milner should have had a pen around 42 mins?

Anyone confirm?
My stream cut out and then when it came back Jota was moaning so quite possibly.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored

The Caligula method of watching Liverpool:

Everton relegation won't get us in the champions league but it's the next best thing😂😂😂😂

They both went in high, that's factually correct, both tried to play the ball at height.  Doku with his foot, Mac Allister with his chest.

Joe Gomez is beyond finished in this team.

Thought for periods we were quite good. But That midfield is uninspired and Southampton are playing without any fear.

Not sure what I'd do to change it with what's on the bench though.

Thought Caoimhin was poor on the first in particular.

Bit odd if true as the conspiracy update you posted earlier had them giving us everything today as it didn’t matter right?

He got a great send off at Anfield, I was looking forward to seeing some of the kids getting a chance as this is a pure dead rubber.
Ellliot has had plenty of chances.

Good start, sloppiness at the back cost us.

Need to tighten it up and get the front more involved.

It’s the last game of the season and unfortunately some players are playing like it.

over the summer, we just have to practice a defensive formation, instead of going gung ho all the time..
2-0 up should be should be to shut up shop, and hit on the break.

This game is highlighting why we need a new CB, the options behind Van Dijk and Konate have declined somewhat. Hopefully the games that matter continue to go our way 2nd half.

We have an entirely new back line for this game including players who haven't played for ages. It is entirely no surprise they are lacking in any rhythm.
