ClyneKlavenLovrenMilner
        Henderson
   WijnaldumLallana

Karius starting is a big gamble for me I would prefer SM to start.

Just not Lucas in central defence. Klaven is a centre half, so play him. Bite the bullet and reintroduce Sakho otherwise. Use Lucas to shore up the midfield as needed.

If we can have the same response from our last defeat to our defeat to Bournemouth then happy days. We're in for another great few months. Klopp always says you learn more from defeat than you do from victory so I hope we can bounce back straight away and batter wet spam!! Kloppo's got this lads ;)

For those who are asking to drop Karius, I understand your frustration but I disagree. And we all know that Jurgen is not going to drop Karius because of that -- it would be so unKlopp like to do that. That said, West Ham are physical and Andy Carroll will be back so it wont be easy for Karius but a good opportunity to prove himself.

The only other question is whether to stick with Can or Wij for Adam. I thought Wijnaldum was pretty good (as good as you can be in a defeat) and Can seems to be more of a goal threat these days. I would go for Wijnaldum but I am not sure Jurgen will.

If Daniel is fit, he should come in for Divock. Yes I love Big Divy too, but I would prefer to have him as a weapon from the bench.

Karius has to start imo, dropping him after one bad game(in which everyone was bad), effectively putting it on him, will kill his confidence. We knew he would need time, give him some.

West Ham are on another leave of shite this season and don't look like they play for their manager. Anything other than a win will not be good enough.

Don't care if it's 1-0 or 10-7.

At this point not too bothered about formations or the personnel. Whoever plays need to put to bed the Bournemouth game. West Ham are wounded at the moment and we need to be ruthless and aggressive to keep them down. I'd like to see Lallana back in from the start as I think he makes a big difference to our attacking play.

I always feel uneasy about Lucas as a CB although he usually does have a good game but I'd rather Klavan or Sakho fill in.

I hope Klopp is still yelling at his players - for showing complacency against Bournemouth

I hope the fury of that loss on the weekend just gone fuels us for this next HUGE week. West Ham on Saturday then Middlesborough in midweek. Then of course the derby....

The games come thick and fast and so does the opportunity to bitchslap that horrible weekend out of our memory

Fuck West Ham. We're a different element at Anfield and we are much better than them, we can be nervous or we can just obliterate them. I'm ready now lets go

I agree that dropping Karius would dent his confidence, but to be honest I am more concerned with staying in a title challenge then keeping him happy. We have to be able to rely on our goalkeeper and whilst Mignolet is hardly better, Karius hasnt been great at all.

Think people are being a bit harsh on Karius. Yes he fucked up, but I thought over the past few games he was getting better and better (against Sunderland made 2 great saves at 0-0 otherwise we may not have took all 3 points).

It's up to him to show he can bounce back from this and it's not going to help with half the fanbase calling him shit and wanting him dropped, maybe supporting him would be a better idea?

Mignolet was given 3 years of consistent fuck ups, and being statistically speaking the most error prone goalkeeper in the entire league and many supporters continued to back him.

Karius hasn't even had 6 months.

Personally, would stick with him, and would only consider changing it up after/if Mignolet impresses in a cup match- thus making the change about Mignolet's improvement, rather than a lack of faith in a new keeper.

Top OP thanks for that.

There should/will be a reaction to the 4-3 reversal.

               Karius
Clyne JM/LL Lovren Moreno
               Hendo
      Lallana       Gio
Manê                     Milner
                  Bob

Stick with Karius.
Moreno in at LB.
Matip or Lucas RCB.
Our best mid combo.
Milner in Phils role.
Origi impact from the bench.

Some wont agree,Firmino has to start central.
Come on you redmen!

Same again pretty much depending on who's fit ...Lallana should come in hopefully which will add to our cutting edge and just need to be more aware of the holes we leave behind us if we press. Bournemouth showed if you get pass our first line we can be prone to a quick counter. Just need the effort that kept us unbeaten for so long and we will be great,

Would not drop Karius....he deserves the chance to make up for the first time he's been responsible for dropped points as would be the case for any outfield player im sure.

Migs has had years of failing as has been stated

Would keep the line up as is with hopefully Lallana and Matip coming in as the only changes, and for the lads to look at the table before kickoff and target those above us. its a marathon not a sprint so mistakes like Bournemouth/Burnley can happen

If we are to have a winning mentality gotta prove it in our attitude after setbacks, im sure klopp will have them ready. Hope Anfield is too

If you are serious about a title challenge, then you do not change Karius at this point. You stick with him and see how he does for at least another month. If he produces a series of errors and costs us more games, then you could consider taking him out of the firing line and bringing in Mignolet. This is not the time to break glass and Mignolet.

Imagine Mignolet comes in for West Ham and gets pulverized by Carroll and goes back to bad Mignolet. What happens then? You have a shattered Karius and a pulverized Mignolet. And bring a gk in the winter and throw him straight in? Yikes!

You need to be patient and see how Karius does. If he does get worse, you bring in Mignolet as a last alternative and hope he holds up.

As exciting and positive as it is to have three teenagers on the bench, I'd rather have Daniel or Divock as options depending on who starts.

Karius is a worry. He's not had one commanding/impressive display since joining, but I agree that he needs sticking with. He won't get any better sat on the bench. We can only hope for the De Gea effect to kick in once he finds his feet.

I'd expect

                Karius

Clyne  Matip  Lovren  Milner

             Henderson

    Gini                  Lallana

Mane       Origi         Firmino

Karius is really not a worry at all.  He's been fine so far and will continue to improve as he becomes more comfortable playing in the league.  People often forget that it takes a good half year at a minimum for most players to adapt to a new league.

I think you have the team spot on with one exception.  Can will start over Wijnaldum.

Should be a good match to get back on the horse after Sunday. Pleasing to hear Matip looks to be Ok, agree that Firmino central works better too. Midfield three of Lallana, Hendo and Wijnaldum for me.

I really think Karius needs to be ditched he is a liability.
At the moment, he looks like an outfield player who's had to go in goal because the regular keeper has been injured and the substitute keeper has been sent off.  Klopp's no mug though - he went after the lad in the same way he did Matip and Mane so we really have to give him more time.  He's awful to watch at times but let's get the fcuk behind him.  Sometimes it feels like the goalkeeper position at Anfield has been cursed and has been for a good few years now and we've got to get this sorted if we're to challenge for anything.  If anyone needs a song to boost them and banish the curse it's Loris!
Look up "Odious" in the dictionary and Martin Samuel is the given definition.  Call me Klopphooey please.

Does that make him a liability too?

Was checking physio room to see when the likes of Antonio and Cresswell would be back, it says after our game so hopefully they are spot on. They are heavily reliant on their wing backs especially now that Big Andy is back. Im sure Matip will sort him and and the lads will no doubt bounce back after Sunday.

On a regular game I would say it is. But he annoyingly seems to have some blinding games against us. I don't think I've ever seen a defender shutting Luis Suárez down as completely as he managed a couple of seasons back. He's usually shite though.

Yes we should have Joel back, and Firmino and Lallana more fit than last game. Origi will do the same as he did last year - the more games he plays the sharper he becomes.

We will need the midfield to get back into the game - but West Ham aren't taking the game to us - they will hope for set piece chaos or Payet's moments of brilliance (if he is arsed to try). Plus with Carroll - they will be even slower - so we need to just go for the juggular early.

Yes, but you're constantly mentioning him and slating him. What happened to supporting our players?
