It might have hit his hand but it certainly wasn't clear and obvious, no way are they overruling that!

Even if it did, it would be crazy to rule it out when at the moment of the possible handball the West Ham defender is firmly gripping Firmino's wrist.
shut up clown. Naby Keita can buy your life and throw it away.

It didn't hit his hand. The footage clearly shows when the ball past his arm it didn't change course at all... I. E. It didn't hit it.

His word was lore as well as law.

That’s a really nice line. Lovely post.

I wasn’t even two years old when Shankly retired. :(

The fact that the defender was holding his arm...

I echo the sentiments towards 12C and Sons of PioneerS. I'm too young to remember much about Shankly - he retired the year I was born - but Klopp seems to embody his essence for the 21st century, as well as a good dose of Paisley thrown in for good measure.

We were made for him, and he was made for us. And so is Jurgen. :)

For me, it is the love of football.
On a family holiday with the extended family in Spain 35 years ago. Reds and blues.
We came across the equivalent of a Sunday league match on a dust patch and we stopped to watch and ended up applauding and cheering. No sides taken. Just a love of the game. The women folk were wanting away but we weren’t moving, cos it was football.
Shanks was like that with the kids on the field, Jürgen gets it as well

I think it was only yesterday I heard about that. I've been waiting for the media hysterics over it and the endless condemnation ... but nothing.

The light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long, and you've burned so very, very brightly, Jürgen.

Yes & we should complain and campaign daily until West Ham have 22 points deducted.

Well that's a huge surprise isn't it?

I remember as a kid devouring anything football related in the paper or on TV because there wasn't that much of it. Now with wall to wall coverage, it's become an absolute cesspool.

Less is definitely more when it comes to football "journalism"
