Well in City really, but I've been watching this league for 11 years and I'm fed up of being a part time fan of City/Arsenal/Chelsea because they're up against United. Bar one time we're always outside the frame of competition, we really need to gt our act quickly really.

Awkward when Fulham are going to go above us.

Also great professional performance by City there - I think Zabaleta is really underrated, played well today.

He's getting in ahead of Richards who is a very good RB in his own right - that shows you how good Zabaleta is.

'Cos he's not small and latin.

They played him in the wrong position anyways, so it's not a big deal to them.

He did do well for them in that position and towards the end of his reign he was the furtherest forward and set up a fair few goals. Non the less he is a magnifcent footballer, I guess those who mocked city for them wages they gave him aren't laughing so much now.

I'd love to have seen a midfield battle between yaya and micahel essien at his peak.

I can see United completely thrashing Swansea but it won't be enough.

Manu could catch up on GD if they completely smash Swansea and whoever they are due to play in the final game.

Need Swansea to play with some pride and guts.

And now the media will stop mentioning 'mind games' and 'squeaky bum time' forever and ever, after the Great Lord And Master of Mind Games completely and utterly bottled a title win after being 8 pts up.

Or maybe they'll develop collective amnesia about this one.

Kompany cost them £6m pre-Mansour.

For someone who'd actually been touted as being a potential World-class defender for him still to be available, and them to get him for so little is quite incredible.

If only we paid Toure 225k/wk like City did

If only we paid Sneijder 200k/wk like Inter do

we were never, ever in  the frame for those 2 players.

Say Swansea did capitulate today and lose 10-0 and Unites somehow finsihed on better goal diff how absurd that would be

Beat them home and away 1-0 and 6 fucking 1

needs changing
At the time of our 7th European Cup final appearance it was 12 years and 3 days

and still counting......

To be fair you look at some of our best signings - Skrtel, Agger, Reina, Alonso, Lucas - as well as elsewhere (Newcastle for example) and you realise that it's not really about price, but just making the right signing at the right time. If we'd managed to get Eto'o, Alves and others (Cristiano Ronaldo!) when we were ready to take a risk on them then they'd have been much cheaper as well. So the talent's definitely out there, it's not like you have to spend £15-20m every time to get a decent player. Although I'm not one of these annoying people who cherry-picks every decent signing and moans about why we weren't in for them, etc. There are always going to be mistakes and sometimes you can't really foresee how a player is going to do, but at least it would make sense not to pay over-the-odds for them (*cough* Downing, Henderson, Adam...)

Even if UTD smashed Swansea by some silly score the fact City have QPR at home next week should see them rack up a few is they need to.  Anyway, Swansea have a bit about them so can't see them getting completely hammered, but not too concerned if they did
